With every penny I spent. I love this. It will vacuum my entire apartment several times on one charge.

Having two heads is fantastic. Floor head is excellent. Carpet head is great too. Long battery time.

I would never had thought a battery operated vacuum would work as well as my electric upright but to tell you the truth it works better! It is lightweight and not so clumsy as the upright and now I find I use it more than I ever did the one stashed in the closet. Very happy with the Dyson V8

The Dyson has great suction and is easy to use. It is the easiest vacuum I have ever owned to use. The charge will run out vacuuming 4,000 Sq Ft of a house. I have purchased two to always have one ready to use. I vacuum the Persian rugs and use the other to vacuum the hardwood floors. So easy.

I have several very large rooms with a lot of hardwood floors and carpet. I have been using a Shop Vac with felt padding on the floor head for the hardwood and an upright Dyson for my carpets. I was getting tired of dragging the cord around, while trying not to rub the cord on the wall corners, and having to unplug and re-plug the cord several times while running the vacuums. A friend of mine has a Dyson Stick, which she has had for years, and she loves it. She brought it to work one day so I could try it out and I found it to be very easy to use. I decided to get the Absolute because it included both a carpet and hardwood attachment and because of the extra suction power. I’ve used it several times now and I absolutely love it. I’m older now and my hand gets tired quickly holding things. So a run time of 20 minutes works for me. After 20 minutes of vacuuming, I put it back on the charger and go and clean another part of the house before going back to finish up the vacuuming.

I got this vacuum because I am disabled and needed something light, but also has a strong suction. For the amount of money I spent on it, it was way overpriced for what it is capable of. The charge, even when on the vacuum's lowest suction setting, only lasted less than an hour. i was able to vacuum a room and a half and the battery died.

By far the best compact unit I have ever used. Will pick up what my full-size Dyson left behind.

works very well, quite easy to handle and the attachments are very useful; only issues are: 1)debris cup fills very quickly with dog hair so must be frequently emptied - salesman in store had assured me that debris was somehow pulverized into small pieces so cup did not fill up quickly; 2) must manually hold the power button on constantly, no way to "lock" it on - so a bit awkward for someone with small hands

Simple to use for anyone at any age. Makes vacuuming more convenient without the need to use a power cord. Easy to click on and off multiple vacuum heads to handle stairs and other areas. Exceptional machine for anyone with arthritis or back problems due to its light weight and size.

Dyson is hands down the best vacuum. We have a V6 I think but we decided to get a second cordless vacuum because our V6 is 5 years old and it was time to get a 2nd replacement battery. Also we have three little kids running around making messes so we took back the robot vacuum and added money to it and got this sweet V8 with multiple heads. It has a ton of suction and a two selection suction mode. It also has a decent 40 min. run time on normal suction. It's so convenient to grab it off it's wall mounted charging/mounting station and clean up real quick. No hassle of cords to wind or unwind. Just an FYI please be diligent about not leaving it plugged into wall more than it's recommended time. It will destroy the battery life. My top recommendation to Dyson would be to set a timer or alarm to let you know when it's fully charged so you can unplug the cord from the outlet. The second change would be to have the mounting/charging station setup to hold all the attachments.

This vacuum makes cleaning fun and easy. The handheld tool is convenient for cleaning my car.

Bought for daily, quick clean-ups and have not been diasappointed. Tried the robot vacuums but just left us frustrated. This is easy to use, has strong power, and attachments make it useful in any situation. Dumping the waste it picks up is convenient too!

this is a very efficient vacuum, with the right set of attachments, its powerful and does the job well. however on high it does not last the 40 minutes advertised

wat dyson claimed really turned out true. cleans carpet nicely. good suction power. i was going to buy v6 but brought v8. i had to stretch my budget to buy this version which is pretty much extra battery of 40 min. but for my use it really turned out to be good choice...

Who likes spending money on a vacuum cleaner? It's as fun as buying toilet bowl scrubs or dish soap -- but this vacuum is different. My house feels cleaner than a newborn in a bath, my carpets have had more sucked out of them than I care to think about, and the pet hair from our three animals is FINALLY GONE! And with the attachments I sucked off ceiling dangly things, cleaned dust off impossible to reach places, and left the broom to it's quiet time -- all while while gasping repeatedly (really - I know, nerdy) about how amazing everything was beginning to look. Now when house guests come over I secretly judge them when they don't remark on how clean my house is. But most do. I wish I would have bought this decades ago. I love it and if I have to save things from a burning home, this is going in the car. You know, after the kids.

Vacuum is great, cordless, light weight and my 8 year old actually wants to use it.
