This vacuum is fairly lightweight and easy to use, including changing attachments. The trash bin can be a bit difficult to empty. I would like to see the charge last longer than 20-30 minutes, and it would be nice to have an on/off switch so you don't have to keep your finger on the trigger to keep it running. Otherwise it is great!

This is very useful vacuum. It's surprisingly powerful for it's size and is very easy to handle. It has a hard time picking up slightly bigger things. For example, we get leaves on the floor when we come in from outside. The leaves aren't real big, but they still get caught in the tube. But the vacuum works very well!

Dyson has finally figured it out. I owned one of their first handheld and had battery problems. This is reliable and light weight. I like the suction it has, and it is so handy to reach the hard to reach spots. I love it.

We love this stick vacuum. The different floor attachments along with the smaller attachments for furniture and crevices are fabulous! Super easy to use and mount! Super happy with our purchase!

Light weight, amazing suction, beautiful design and just overall amazing vacuum. Would recommend to busy adults that like to keep their home extremely clean and are looking for easy ways to accomplish that.

Great vacuum and very convenient. Had enough battery to vacuum on high suction for entire loving room and dining room (house is relatively small). Work great on laminated floor and tile; a bit hard to push on thick carpet, would not use for large house with lots of carpet. Perfect for smaller area, quick vacuum for cleaning.

This vacuum is very nice to use. Easy to clean up a quick mess or for vacuuming the house. It really sucks everything up and it’s nice that there are no cords to move from one place to another.

The Dyson V8 is an amazing vacuum. I will NEVER purchase a full size vacuum again! It is lightweight, the power is exceptional. It easily hangs in the charger out in the garage...out of sight!

Amazing product, really great performance, loved it

PROS: cordless convenience, good battery life, super soft motorized head for wood floor, great set of attachments included, very light and maneuverable, easy to empty canister CONS: sub par suction, annoying to have to change heads for carpet vs. wood floor, have to empty out the canister very often (good thing it's easy to do so), no convenient storage options to store ALL of the included attachments I have a cat that loves to track litter all over the house, so I am constantly vacuuming (at least once a day). A cordless vacuum makes this task so much easier . The vacuum does a fine job of picking up litter, but it's just okay on carpets, so I have my corded upright vacuum to do deeper cleanings. The perfect cordless vacuum would be a replacement for my corded vacuum as well. Alas, the perfect vacuum remains elusive.

AMAZING vacuum for a pet owner of 2 dogs and 2 cats

We were a little worried about the power of a cordless, but this vacuum is great. We have a corded Dyson that is a couple years old and the cordless works better. We have had the vacuum for 4 months now.

Very Light and easy to use. I am vacuuming almost every day because it's so easy. I wish the "Turbo" mode could keep a longer charge. But I really do love it. If you have arthritic hands having to keep the button pressed as opposed to an "on/off" button or switch could pose a problem for you. I don't mind it though. Also moves easily turning it's head into corners and creases.

I love this product so much. Light weight, no cord. Just grab it and go. I have a boxer that leaves dog bone crumbs everywhere so I am continually using it. Vacuum carpet, floors, my car..just awesome !

The ONLY issue I have with this is that you absolutely have to use the appropriate head. Which for us means that EVERY time I vacuum I have to change out the head because we have an area rug on laminate. Other than that it's easy to use and holds a charge great. Powerful enough not to notice a lack of suction at all!

Very powerful and works well. Only issue we’ve found so far is the finish on the pole scratches very very easily.

To say this is the best light weight vacuume out there would not do justice. It might be even better than the upright animal model. Absolutely ideal for a home around 1800 sq. ft. Must have no questions asked.

love this vacuum cleaner It is lightweight and powerful. No cords to tangle. No bend over plugging and unplugging cords. No bags to buy. This is a great vacuum cleaner. I wish I had bought it sooner.

The Dyson Absolute V8 is very powerful , Very Quiet, very nice looking, it’s got 2 different spinning rolling brushes one special for hardwood floors and one for the carpet , excellent vacum !

Don't underestimate the utility of a battery operated vacuum. It makes the chore of vacuuming so much easier. They charge a premium price but you get a premium product. Powerful and easy to maneuver. Go for it.
