I am amazed how much dirt and dust the Dyson vacuum picks up deep down into the carpet. It is always easy to move around and always thinking that i will never have to drag a cord or rather fight with it. although now thinking about it i wish there was a carpet cleaner from dyson with this kind of design, but with interchangeable brushes, but one can dream.

I love this vacuum because it is so easy to use and has lots of power. My only complaint is that I can't vacuum my 1800 sf house without recharging.

Cordless is one of the reasons l bought it, also very easy to clean.

Recently switched over to hardwood floors in my house and the upright dyson we own was too much to carry around over the floors. Decided to get something lighter and easily maneuvered. Home run with this model. Has 2 power levels...regular and max. Great suction and battery life on regular setting. Max power drains battery quickly and will literally pull the throw rugs off the floor.

..that this product produces is astonishing. I believed that my Dirt Devil was cleaning the floors/rugs and carpets in my home; boy was I amazed when the Dyson V8 cleaned the same locations. Ether it is creating the dirt out of thin air or the floors/rugs and carpets have never been cleaned like this before. The suction power and brushes don't end or lessen. You've got to see it to believe it.

I love this cordless vacuum. So easy to use and it’s so powerful.

This handheld cordless vac does a good job. The power brush is powerful so it really gets in there. It's not as good as a standard Dyson Ball model, but that's worth the trade off for portability. One negative I did find is the battery power time. The box says 40 minutes. I'm sure there is fine print explaining it better, but that time is not for using the power brush. If you use the brush, you're lucky to see 20 minutes. It is a small cordless vac, so I suppose this is to be expected? My wife thinks it's too heavy, but she can use it fine.

Worth the price! I love how flexible it its. I have a townhouse so going up and down the stairs makes it much easier then lugging a very heavy vacuum.

Lite weight easy to manuver. Maintenance is a breeze. Well thought out design.

Dyson does not disappoint. I have always used the Dyson Animal, but for small cleanups and quick touchups, you cannot beat the Absolute handheld vac.

Best vacuum I've ever owned. It works great on carpet, hardwood, and even my new Joybird velvet couch. It easily gets all my pets hair off any surface. Only complaint is the 10minute battery life if using full power. But that was told to me upfront by Dyson in the specs. Overall awesome product!!

My wife has used the Dyson V8 Absolute cordless vacuum more then I however I have used it twice and have been very impressed with its performance. We have a central vac system that is used once a week but this cordless vac works well in between times for cleaning up pet hair and crumbs. I was also surprised to see how much unseen dirt it picks up when emptying the canister.

This unit replaced a canister by Dyson after many years of service. Recognizing the short battery life can be an adjustment when on max setting; however, the time is sufficient to get the important orientals well cleaned in short order. The normal setting after charging is plenty to hit bare tiled floors throughout the house with ease. Actually kinda fun to use
