We have 3 cats and between the litter getting scattered everywhere, their fur, and food scattering, we love the ease of this cordless vacuum for quick pickups. It’s a great improvement over the previous cordless vacuum where the battery lasts much longer.

My wife and I recently refinished our 109-year-old birdseye maple floors; we needed a vacuum that could keep up with having a black dog with an undercoat without destroying the beautiful fresh finish. The soft roller works admirably, and the power head is great on any other surface (we sort of switch it up on the tile, using whichever head was most recently used). My only two complaints are: 1.) In the dry MN winters, it seems to shock us quite a bit (for comparison's sake, the relative humidity is between 10 and 20% in our house when these shockings occur) 2.) The battery isn't removable, and you only get about a half hour of use before it dies. In theory, that should be enough time to do your entire house (it really does only need one pass), but if you forget to charge it, or it doesn't seat in the charger correctly, you're in for a long wait and maybe some cursing.

I was hesitant to buy this because of the price. However, I would sa that it is totally worth the money. A beautiful machine. It picks up everything. Works great on wood floors and carpet. Easy to clean and maintain. I highly recommend this dyson.

We loved this vacuum, especially the soft roller head for our wood floors and suction is fantastic.. BUT vacuuming carpet sent static shocks through the charging port in the handle! Not paying this much for a vacuum that shocks me. Another downside is the trigger has to be held the whole time.

This thing is awesome, honestly I bought it for my wife I personally don't do a lot of vacuum work. I now refuse to use my shopvac in the garage to clean my cat because this machine goes everywhere with no cord, I realize it's pricey but worth it all the way!!

It’s good cordless vacuum, strong enough suction for wood floor, came with other tools so I can use on carpet. Head part, you hold to clean is little heavier than I though, can’t clean whole house at once for a long time, need to charge.

I was worried about dying batteries so I bought a corded model from a different manufacture. My mistake, after tripping over corded and jerking them out of the wall I decided to try the Dyson. I’m very happy with my decision I just wish I had done this first. Excellent power and more than enough runtime for my use. I’m very pleased with the performance and features.

I have pets and beside shedding constantly they like rolling in the dry grsss. This vaccum makes daily clean up a breeeeze. No fuss and muss of an upright and NO bending over with a hand held. If you don’t have one, You are Working To Hard.

I have two Australian shepherds, the new V8 has more room in the canister container for dog fur and the cordless feature makes it easy to just go and grab it and vacuum up the dog hair. So now my house is cleaned more often before the dog hair gets piled up.

This vacuum cleaner works amazingly well. Great suction power. By far the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. Only drawback is that there is no lock button for the on switch so you have to keep your finger on the trigger. I would highly recommend!

Vacuum is super light and easy to use. Just needs the charge to last longer

Very Strong for abut 20 mins. Really great for quick messes, baseboards, blinds, ect. Very situational.

The Dyson V8 Absolute is one of the best purchases I’ve made I a long time. Totally worth the price and is hands down the best Vacuum we’ve ever owned. I can’t believe its a cordless vacuum. I would 100% recommend this item!

This is the best model of cordless vacuum we have tried - much better than the V6 we owned and quieter and easier to use than even the newer Dyson models. The basket empty setup is great and amazing how well it works o carpet

Extremely practical and fast. No need to find a plug or unravel a cord, just take off mount and vacuum. Outrageous suction and muitiple tools to easily vacuum higher areas (or car) you could never practically get to with a standard vacuum.

Very happy with my purchase, these points are my personal opinion and I am not by any means affiliated with Bestbuy or Dyson I bought this with my own money. Pros 1. Very convenient for been wireless, having a cord following you around was getting on my nerves 2. everyone in the house is able to use it, except my 3 yr old :-) 3. stores neatly away from the floor and it just looks so "clean" and neat on the wall 4. Battery last enough to "keep up", you have 2 options, regular power, and super power :-) one last more than the other but one "sucks" more than the other 5. it is very light in weight 6. I like that the little head moves all around, making the vacuum experience very easy to do under furniture and around it cons. 1. Price - yes I bought it with our own money, but it took us 2 months or even more to finally get to buy it because of the price point. 2. takes a whole night to re-charge completely 3. Suction is good but not so great. you still have to pick up some papers/items from the floor before vacuuming which we normally do anyways. Overall - if you want the cord out of the way, but still have good vacuum Dyson V8 is a really good option, just save up for it, I don't think you will regret it :-) and of course, Protect your investment :-)

Purchased the V8 Absolute and was very happy with the price paid. Vacuum comes with a lot of accessories and is very easy to use with all the heads. Does a great job on wood floors with the power floor attachment. Only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is the plastic housing looks cheap and I am concerned it might crack if dropped.

It works like a beast! Love my new Dyson and recommend it to everybody!
