Bought this product because it was on sale and it has worked great! Of course they came out with a new one soon after, but my only complaints are the small bin and how long it takes to charge. Seems like they have fixed all of these issues with the new model.

Very satisfying purchase. Great quality combined with awesome battery life. Easily can vacuum several rooms on a single charge and the stairs are easier than ever to clean.

Got the v6 dyson first and the battery just ran out too quickly for my liking. Maybe works fine for an apartment. The v8 battery lasts much longer and allows me to finish. Dyson makes a good product. Expensive? Yes...but I also have a dyson upright that has lasted for 10 years.

We live this vacuum and are considering another for upstairs because we are lazy. Don’t use it to clean up drywall dust.

After getting the Dyson V8, I don’t mind cleaning. Before I was hesitant and push back on doing the chore of vacuuming. But Dyson makes it easy and fun!

We have a new home with all porcelain tile except the master bedroom has carpet. I can take this all over the house. It’s great for the steps. With no cord to deal with!

This is probably the best vacuum I have ever had. Some people complain about the battery but I did 3 floors and 2 flights of stairs on one charge. Worth buying

Battery is not charging much anymore and can barely clean one room before it dies and needs to be recharged.

We have a couple of dogs and a cat. One of our dogs is a husky so we get a lot of hair on the floors. This requires frequent vacuuming. The V8 is convenient and powerful.

Works well and battery lasts a reasonable amount of time as long as you use the low setting. On high, the battery lasts 10-12 minutes, on low it lasts considerably longer and gets the job done. I rarely need to use the high setting, buy it is nice to have of you need it.

We’ve had a few other cordless vacs but wanted something dedigned for hardwood floors. The Dyson is quiet and with the soft brush roll it does an incredible job!

I love having a cordless vacuum that works well. I use it almost everyday, it is so handy for a quick clean up or if I am cleaning the entire house.

A lot easier than plugging into outlets as you vacuum. V8 battery life is short on maximum suction. I have 3000 sq feet of rugs and hardwoods. It takes 2 charges to complete the job. Each charge takes 3+ hours. The Best Buy price was great

I read the reviews about the cost of this item and I agree it is a little over the top. I do like the convenience of no cord and no bag, but man this thing fills up fast when the kids make a mess. I do like not having to get out the larger vacuum to clean up after the kids. I am shocked how easily clogged the vacuum and attachments get on not overtly large items. I get sucking up a tissue would present some challenges, but a potato chip? At this point unfortunately this thing is a high tech broom that sucks literally and figuratively. I am contemplating returning it to be honest.

I honestly can not believe the amount of suction this small vacuum has, I'm not sure how or why I didn't buy 1 sooner. I will not be with out 1 in the future.

Great product for those that like to clean up without the hassle of plugging the cord up each time they move to a new room
