Overpriced floor cleaner. Cleans well on high, just ok in low. Sometimes blows the dirt away from the nozzle. Easy to empty. Battery life is ok, should be a removeable pack to swap out for long cleaning days.

This Dyson vacuum is awesome so far that could not think of a single negative point. Would recommend to my friends about this cool toy.

First off I'm not a fan of the color... I upgraded from the V6 animal to this Dyson because I had the GeekSquad protection, so was able to use the money from that to get the new one. They try to see you on the fact that it lasts up to 40 minutes... what they don't tell you is that its only on the low setting. This thing lasts 10-15 minutes on the high setting. Not worth the price of $600, considering everything else about the vacuum is the same as the V6 Animal at a much lower price.

Charged the device out of the box. Was surprised initially at the long life of the battery. The vacuum lasted 30 minutes at a minimum.

I got this as a Christmas gift and I have used it every single day. The best part is that it's cordless and you can take it anywhere.

I absolutely love my V6 that's why I decided to get V8 for my mom, but as it turns out it's bigger and heavier then I expected so not sure what to do now, takie it into consideration when getting one for a loved one

This Dyson cordless vacuum works really well for my small home. It is very portable making it easy to work with.

Ok so we traded in our V6 Animal for this newer Dyson V8 because we got sold on the fact that it lasts up to 45 minutes!!! Well, thats pretty much on the low setting. Which, let's be real, who uses the low setting other than on maybe vinyl flooring. I like to crank it up to 11, baby! The only problem, is it only goes four minutes past 11.... 15 minutes! It's pretty pathetic and honestly I would've been just as fine with my V6 Animal which is much cheaper than this one. It has a couple new attachments, but not worth the markup price for it. Also suffers from the same issue as the V6 in which you got shocked to s41t on the hand where the charger port is located. Overtime I get shocked, not enough to hurt, but extremely annoying.

Light, easy to use, compact, and works well. Would definitely buy again if needed.

This works great on my hardwood floors. Battery is good for routine cleaning but can fall short if you have lots of cleaning to do.

I upgraded from the V6 to the V8. Wow! Love this machine! More power and longer battery life. Yes! Two thumbs way way up

This is a great stick vacuum. The suction is incredible and emptying the dirt container is easy. I would definitely recommend it.

Easily installed charger on the wall. 40 minutes use time enough for normal cleanup. 30 minutes with power head. Both heads usefull, one for carpet, one for hardwood. Could use extension hose to be included.

Great vacuum. We have two dogs and a 5 year old. I'm able to vacuum my entire 2400SQ FT home with a single charge

It does a good job cleaning and has different attachments for different surfaces. On the the high setting the battery doesn’t last long and there is no capability of swapping out batteries.

I am a big Dyson fan. This v8 model does everything and has made cleaning easier and faster. I highly recommend to everyone.

One word CORDLESS. The convincey of having cordless is absolutely fantastic. Dirty floors and carpets no problem
