I have not had this product along but I am really pleased with the number of attachment in its ability to clean. It is very light weight and able to reach tight areas. I purchased one for an elderly person because it is so easy to use. It is easy to empty. Battery life is all that keeps it from a 5. So far I would recommend this product.

I've owned several Dyson products over the years and this is the best yet! I even purchased one for both my children and they love it. I'm not sure I can justify upgrading to the ten since this unit does everything I need it to do.

I have so far resisted the Dyson phenomenon. This is my first one and I must say that I am converted. I did not believe the price was worth it in the past. I was wrong. Shop the sales and make the plunge, you will not be disappointed.

I hesitated to buy this vacuum because of the price. But upon getting it home and using it I was not dissapointed. Works better then my plug in vacuum ever did. I do wish the battery lasted longer but it's a small price to pay for a great vacuum.

I bought this as a Christmas gift. Its been great for quickly cleaning any of the floors in the house. Plenty of battery capacity and the attachments work great. Even good on steps. Real happy about owning this product.

Purchased this as a gift, and for also cleaning hardwood floors and the cars carpets... everything works well but it's biggest flaw is true as you might have read. The battery life. It's not half of what Dyson claims in the real world scenario. Other than that, it's a beast.

Love that I can take this vacuum and do all my floors in one quick sweep without having to deal with cords. I feel as though the battery life could improve . It does by time I’m finished vacuuming my apartment

Wife gave hints before Christmas. I was smart enough to take the hint. I chose the most recent model. She is very happy you don't need you full size dyson for everything. Plus we will get another charger and take with us to use in our RV.

Absolutely love my new Dyson cordless vacuum. I got the one w the extra beater bar for hardwood floors & tile floors. It was well worth the extra money..Best vacuum ever! And I own 3 other Dyson.. but this is my 1st cordless

This is a good vacuum to reach all those hard to reach spaces.

The amount of dirt that this machine picks up is amazing. It really makes cleaning fun. The perfect way to test this machine is to vacuum your carpet's first and then use this machine and see how much more dirt it actually picks up.

Being wire less is handy and saves much time for quick clean ups.

A little heavy. But suction is excellent. And gets the job done.

After a couple of years using a Miehle vacuum, we FINALLY invested in the Dyson Animal. And... WE. LOVE. IT. It's so cool to see EVERYTHING it picks up- dust and dog hair. Happy to say we are very glad we purchased this one.

This is a perfect vacuum for those quick and easy clean-ups. We have the large Dyson vacuum cleaner and found it sometimes heavy to lift around, whereas, this vacuum cleaner is very light and easy to use. Good design feature.

this is our 4th vacuum that we have tried. The other 3 each were different brands and we had problems with them all. The is a winner. Works great. Cleans great...easy to empty... seems to be made strong and not cheaply made...
