Vacuum works well on "turbo" mode, but battery works barely enough to vacuum one car or kitchen floor before dying. Then I have to recharge for 1/2 day before doing other car, or stairs or anything else. But for the 8 minutes its working, it does well. Not sure why they haven't made an interchangeable battery, like all my other battery tools.

Bought this because of pix11, they had a review on it and I liked it so I went out and got one. It’s just as it says and works very well. Just wish the battery would last longer. My experience in getting was great. I went to Woodbridge NJ and a sales person Oscar was very helpful. I will go back there again

If only the super suction would last a bit longer.

We have three dogs, and a ton of hardwood flooring in our house. This vacuum gets all of the dust that most people can’t even see, as well as the pet hair from our three very hairy short haired dogs.

We bought this dyson v8 vacuum 2 years ago and still working perfect, just the battery life is not the same but I can’t complain, you can replace the battery after is totally dead for a new one

Very handy on hardwood floors but feel it is over priced.

I honestly could not live without this vacuum. After years of trying multiple vacuums that would clean both had services and carpet I finally found this device.

Initially bought this item as I have a lot of stairs and wanted something easy to maneuver. Already have a dyson animal. Now with 3 dogs, it's my quick and easy cleanup for hair blowouts and other messes. Very recommended.

I like the lightweight and power it has for a cordless.

I was so grossed out when we first used this. Due to all the junk it pulled from my carpet that the other vacuum ( shark Professional ) didn’t get. Wish the battery lasted a bit longer though.

Product is good at suction but very uncomfortable to hold in small hands and there is no way to have power button on without holding it. This would be better on hand if that could happen. It does vacuum great though. Hanging wall stand is very flimsy.

This handheld vacuum is really a great tool. The suction is by far the best of any of the cordless tools I have owned. I'm very pleased with how long it holds a charge also. I've had good luck with Dyson products.

Great cord-free vaccum, and love the attachments. Only wish the battery lasted longer as I usually have to clean a few rooms at a time, re-charge, and finish on a 2nd trip.

We use it for our gym. Great for quick clean ups!!

Previous reviews were very helpful in support of my decision to purchase the Dyson-Absolute V8. I can now add my name and high recommendation to the list of very satisfied product user and owners.

The Tyson Absolute V8 has surpassed my expectations! It has the cleaning capacity of units costing much more and is so much easier to use on a daily basis. I wish I had discovered this products years ago.

I would've never though that I would be spending $500+ on a vacuum. Now that I have I must say its a great investment. Cleans my cats hair off my sofa with ease! Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I picked up some spilled crushed coffee beans and I can't get the smell out of the vacuum -_-

I bought this a month before the V10 was announced. Considering that I paid at least $250 less than the V10 starting price, I think this was a good buy. It is very easy to use, clean and charge. The V10 is a big improvement with an equally impressive price tag. The V8 is comparatively a good value.

This vacuum is awesome. Well worth the price. This stick vac works better than any corded upright I’ve ever owned. It handles pet hair like a champ. I would 110% recommend this one!
