Could be a better vacuum one problem is battery life. On high power with rotary tools you get on the dot eight minutes of battery life then it shuts off and three hours of charging time now with high suction you get a little over 20 minutes runtime but then your losing that powerful suction. Dyson should really work on there products overall they throw you a great pitch but in the end it ends up being a strikeout and that's from multiple items I have reviewed and tried with 95% of it going back to the store the vacuum which by the way is a Dyson v8 absolute is the only thing I'm keeping and that's because I got it for 350 which is decent considering I got 8 tools with it and dyson.com still wants 450 with no tools all in all vacuum is good for being Dyson and the price

I absolutely LOVE this vacuum!!! My favorite thing about it is that everyone else in my house loves it too. I used to do all the vacuuming but now everyone cleans up after themselves because it's so easy!

Not as powerful as expected; battery life is not great on max suction.

This is my first and last portable and hand held vacuum. I’m not sure how else this could get better. Maybe if the battery lasted longer but that is not a deal breaker for me.

i have some pretty bad allergies to dust and dust mites, the dyson picks up way more dust than i would have ever imagined. super happy with it and i use it at least 3 days a week at ease.

Why did i wait so long to pick up this fierce sucking machine? This is without a doubt the best Vac I have ever purchased. The dirt on my floors and in my carpet never seen it coming.

My wife hated that I bought this when we already had a roomba. But after using this vacuum she said thank you for buying this it’s the best thing in a long time. Roomba has been retired.

This Dyson V8 Absolute works perfectly. It is very light and has excellent soil pick-up abilities. Its battery life is quite a bit better when it is run on the lower speed (i.e. not on "Max").

I would give this a 5 except the handle is uncomfortable to me. I have to keep moving my hand so it won't blister and I have average size hands. My husband loves to vacuum now, but it really hurts his hand. It is lovely not having a chord and so convenient and always charged and ready.

Great light weight stick vacuum for daily clean ups on wood floors and wool carpet. Easy turns and under the couch. Picks up Everything on the first pass and it is easy to empty.

Yes, believe it or not, I'm having a blast finding ways to use my V8! Having a "power tool" that really gets the job done has inspired me to tackle areas that have been neglected for too long.

Purchased the V7 first, after about three weeks I was so impressed with the V7 that I honestly wished I would have went all in and purchased the V8 absolute, so that’s what I did.

Great for quick runs through the house. We have two dogs and I vacuum twice a day with the dyson. Easy to maneuver under furniture and not hard on my back. Love it!!

This is a great vacuum until the battery runs out. Works really good on both carpet and hardwood floors with the appropriate attachments. It seems to work as good as any canister or upright while on the high setting. Would add another star if the battery capacity was enhanced.

I had a much older handheld Dyson and all I can see is this new one is heads and tails above it. It comes with every accessories I could ask for and ever part feels well built.

This vacuum has not disappointed!!! Easy to use. Strong suction, quick recovery time to charge. I would highly recommend this V8 vacuum cleaner. You will love it.

This is great for those everyday clean ups without dragging the big corded vacuum out. As a plus my granddaughter can use it to help as it's easy to handle

I have tried many different brands and was hesitant about looking at Dyson due to its cost but I am so glad I did. This is hands down the best vacuum cleaner you can buy.

Took me a lot of research and reading reviews to finally order the Dyson V8 Absolute and I could not be happier! I clean my apartment in under 45 minutes! Best vacuum out there!
