Works great. We have about 1150 square foot house. Have never run out of battery while cleaning. It picks up dog hair from my area rugs. I do have to use the max power. But it gets every hair up. Better than my full size canister . . I mostly have hard floors except area rugs and low pile in the basement. But I never use anything else since I got it.

Very powerful, lightweight. Good for removing dog hair from our couch. A little hard to empty sometimes if it is too full.

The Dyson V8 cordless vacuum has exceeded my expectations for convenience in cleaning. The battery has superior staying power and it allows me to vacuum the entire house on a single charge. The additional tools offer easy access when vacuuming the car or furniture. The entire unit is light weight, well balanced, and designed for ease of use.

This Dyson is handy for quick clean ups especially in the kitchen. Love the suction power and ease of emptying the dirt.

Most convenient vacuum ever! Has very good suction and extremely long battery life. Actually makes me want to vacuum!

Excellent product for doing daily quick cleanings especially for hardwood floors in and around furniture and baseboards. The attachments for rugs and crevices are also useful when doing area rugs, furniture cushions and reaching up and above wood blinds and window treatments. This vacuum is small but packs a huge punch as long as you keep it charged. The low setting is more than enough for daily cleaning but the max setting is nice for those times you need more suction. I really like the ease of emptying the canister. I have an older dc25 animal which I still use for carpeted rooms upstairs and that can be a bit bulky compared to this... In my opinion, unless you have a single level apartment or small space that has nothing but hard surfaces, I wouldn't reccomend this as your only vaccum due to the battery life, but more of a supplement for light day to day cleaning as it's portable and extremely capable of handling any job. It comes with everything you need and it's worth the price. I was skeptical but after owning it for a few months. It's the real deal.

lightweight and with enough attachments to be used pretty much anywhere. hasn't run out of power whenever i am using it and really picks up everything i run it over. i use it in my truck, on doormats, wood floors, and stairs. Dyson makes the best vacuums out there, you really get high quality for the price.

This Dyson has a ton of suction and power. We swept our carpets with the Dyson just one day after we had swept with our old vacuum (we couldn't help ourselves from trying it when it arrived), and the Dyson picked up a ton of dust and lint. Easy installation and super lightweight make this a great deal!

Dyson V8 is great. Waited for the V8 for its battery life and improved performance. No touch discharge works well. Easy tool change. Only wish there was a trigger lock button.

The Dyson - V8 Absolute Bagless Cordless Stick Vacuum - Multi is truly a quality product. All components are very well made, great suction, great battery lifer for a cordless. light weight and quality mounting bracket. Functions very well and battery life seems to meet Dyson's claims. Bit disappointed that the hanging mount does not hold all the attachments that come with the vacuum. Note also that this is animal exclusive although I can't figure out what that means.

The vacuum is light weight and can go anywhere. Has better suction power than a larger vacuum with a power cord.

Great vacuum so far very strong auction and best for little or big jobs. Does not need to plug in or tethered.

This is better than the earlier models. Much easy to use, much more effective and I feel better battery life.

Light, easy to use. Love, love it. I am so impressed with the versitalty of this vacuum. Great for dog owners. No cord. I highly recommend. The charge lasts just long enough for my needs . I have wood floors and area rugs so easy switch. The hard floor attachment is very nice. Happy customer.

Vacuuming has forever been a hassle. Pull out vacuum, unwind cord to plug in, unwind cord some more, start vacuuming, adjust cord... and the pain of the cord goes on and on. This vacuum makes vacuuming too easy not to do. The only concern that I had initially was that 40 minutes may not be enough battery life, but it's been enough to cover our whole house. Our house has stayed cleaner since having it, and I would recommend this vacuum to anyone.

After using my old canister vacuum I thought the carpets were clean. Then I used DYSON V8 after that and was pleasantly and terribly surprised that even more dirt and fluff were picked up. Afterwards the carpets were more soft and plush,endorsing its power The varied attachments adds versatility in that they are easy to attach. The attachments operate smoothly and efficiently on hardwood floors and all carpets. The smaller attachments and crevice tool are fabulous to clean the interior of cars. Cleaning stairs with small roller is a pleasure. A great package of accessories add to its versatility. The charger is efficient, cleaning of the unit easy and so far the plastic tubes and rollers seem strong yet light. Though a bit pricey it seems to be a great product and since I got it rather early after it was introduced the price was not discounted anywhere. Did I do well with this V8 DYSON purchase ? The answer is ABSOLUTELY YES. My wife and kids endorse it too! DYSON V8 delivers dust and dirt to the bin and leaves the rooms clean and neat.

Powerful, versatile, light weight and its pretty! Great on my wood floors , easy to change attachments and it charges on the wall and always ready to go. Need to clean sliding door jams - no problem. Need to do the plantation shutters Easy! Want to clean carpet in car. Do it! Great product

Great versatile vacuum, kind of expensive but well worth it especially for a house full of dogs.

it's an excellent Vacuum, the Battery run time is very good and the sucking power is amazing

I love the fact I can move from room to room with ease, not having to unplug and replug. Suction is great and battery lasts long enough to vacuum my whole house (1700 sf). I also like that i can remove the attachments and it becomes a handheld that I can use in my car
