Exactly what I wanted
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this vacuum several times a week. I do 1.5 big rooms for one charge with max suction. I could do a lot more with normal suction but I like the idea of max clean ;-) Don't expect to do your entire house in one day with this. For me it's a very convenient way to clean your house in stages or to clean up messes. Although my normal vacuum can clean the entire house, I cleaned my house much less because of the hassle. Oh! This product is GREAT on stairs! CON: I learned that the big orange tub can get scuffed easily =( (it looked so cool)

The V8 is advertised to get 7 minutes in MAX mode for tougher jobs. 25 minutes in standard mode with the motorized cleaner head attached and 30 minutes with the soft roller cleaner head or mini motorized tool attached. 40 minutes for any other tool. Lasts as long as the Warranty

This is a defense mechanism designed to protect the motor and alert the user when there is an obstruction present. The V8 also has 2 run time settings. On boost mode, you will achieve a maximum run time of about 10 minutes. On regular, the run time is about 40 minutes. This product solved both those issues for me at once. Vacuuming isn't the "chore" it used to be. No more hoses, cords, or lugging around a bulky vacuum, vacuuming over cords, having to switch outlets for every room. Blah! It's so easy to pop this thing off the wall do a quick spot clean, or use it as a traditional vacuum. I'm impressed with the amount of dirt and hair this thing picks up. This is the first Dyson I've owned and I'm really glad to have taken the plunge. You definitely get what you pay for here. Draw backs over a corded vacuum: Doesn't clean longer carpets as efficiently. Battery life. Other than that, good to go! Here's to a much cleaner house in 2018.

But, after using it for a while now it's just awesome. I own an older Electrolux canister vacuum and it's just so cumbersome to have to drag that beast around the house. So when I was debating replacing the old chap I decided to look into this machine since I'd seen so many commercials for it. It's super lightweight, quick off the charger, quick vac job, quick to put it back on the charger. That's it! It will suck up just about anything I find on the floor and dumping the bin is a snap. Only gripe is that I'm already finding hair from the ladies of the house getting wrapped up in the tools that I frequent. Kinda annoying.

Well I couldn't be more happy with this thing! It works amazing! My old vacuum cleaner did a good job so I thought. Well te minutes with this thing and I was wrong, the evedience was right in front of me, hopefully our allergies will cease with the use of this thing, not to mention the cleaning power, charge life and ease of use when detailing a car had me sold for the anniversary gift to beat!
