Okay, so Dysons are a little pricey, and I would say that for the price of a corded Dyson, comparable corded vacuums exist at the same price. However, there really is no competition for cordless Dysons - owned the V6 and the V8, and this one is definitely unbeatable in terms of performance - other cordless vacuums are quite wimpy in comparison!

Super easy to use and not too loud. Charges quick too

I love vacuuming because of this vacuum. I vacuum two times a day. Before work and after. I have a 85lb German shepherd that shed so much and this vacuum makes cleaning go by so quick and it actually is enjoyable. I recommend this vacuum to anyone that has a hardwood floors. The price is high but it totally is worth it!!!!!

This machine exceed my expectation out of the box. I never knew my room had that much dusts until I used this vacuum. It is very powerful and effective but my only complain is it drains battery life pretty quickly. One charge takes 4-5 hours for 40 minutes nonstop use. It is very pricy but worth every penny. Overall I am impressed.

We bought this vacuum because we have hardwood floors in our home and can i say WOW what a difference this thing makes in the ease of cleaning the floors and it does not scratch the finish and the push abuttton and put the carpet attachment on and do the rugs. The only thing i could hope for is longer battery life, other wise a great buy

Love it! It cleans all floor types! It has how many minutes you have for auto, heavy, and light cleaning. Dumping out is a breeze! It doesn’t have anything that you have to clean or worry about — just make sure that it’s continually charged. Love the vacuum sound. Turbo!!

I've recently purchased the cordless vacuum and it is well worth the purchase. Cordless is key and a great feature. I love all the additional connections and gadgets. Wall mount charger is a plus and the new 40 minute use takes it over the top. I never thought of purchasing a vacuum and considering a long life investment as this has been.

I've had Rainbows, Mieles, Kirbys, Lindhaus - so if I say I'm a vacuum man, you will agree. This product is as described. Lightweight, functions well and does everything it supposed to. Dropped the canister on hardwood flooring day 2. No issues. My Miele stick failed to survive its first fall. Recommended and looks spiffy on wall.

I've used Dyson's products for many years. Love all of them especially this V8 cordless vacuum. It's so convenient to use and the 40 mins battery is enough for me to clean my 2000ft home every time. Strong cleaning power for both carpet and hard floor.
