My Dyson is so easy and fast to use, just grab it and sweep the floors. I was amazed at how well it cleaned. I don't know how I lived without it.

Great portable vacuum that will replace our 12 year old full size dyson for most all jobs.

Battery only lasts about 20 minutes other than that it's a good vacuum cleaner

The v8 is much quieter than the v6. I love the soft/fluffy head, it works great on tile and low pile area rugs! Highly recommend dyson vacuums!

another great dyson tool. great power and functionality. to new to determine battery life. max power mode is very short life as indicated in product description.

I can do my work much faster as I don't have to drag a cord around the house from room to room and it's ever bit as good as the one with the core only lighter

This vacuum is easy to maneuver but not as powerful as our electric upright.

The Dyson V8 Absolute Vacuum is the best vacuum I have ever owned. It has powerful suction and a battery that lasts over 40 minutes. I was using the vacuum on my bed comforter and I noticed that my Dyson was sucking the stuffing out of the comforter. On bare floors or carpets it works equally well. I definitely recommend this vacuum.

Works awesome. Very powerful!! I decide not to fix my central vac and invested the money with this vacuum and I don't regret it one bit. So convenient to use.

This vacuum exceed my expectation out of box. I never knew my room had that much dust until I used this machine from dyson. This product worth every penny.

I use the vac for quick spot/area cleaning so the cordless feature (and how light it is) fits the bill. Another feature I like is no bags to constantly replace.

I wish I had bought this years ago. This vacuum is perfect for pets. Cleans well on hardwood and carpet. Extremely mobile and easy to carry.

The Dyson V8 works better than expected, and it came with a lot of great attachments.

Overall not much better than the 7. Battery life is short, especially on turbo mode. It does not last more than 20 mins on turbo. BBuy does not sell extras to have on hand, so you must wait for recharge. Expensive unit, but very easy to use.

It's okay. I only use it for quick clean up. I have read the reviews, but didn't think it was the main concern of holding the button while vacuuming the floor. So I do have another dyson vacuum cleaner which I would use it to do the big area like living room, family room and bedrooms to do the good job.

Purchased this vacuum to use around the house since we already have a corded Dyson that we've loved for 7 years. Can't beat the Dyson quality! Love the cordless vacuum for picking up quick messes around the house. The mounting hardware that comes with the set is legit and will make storing and charging your vacuum a breeze! The main portion of the vacuum gets a little heavy if you're more fragile like my mother (she's 65 and it wears down her wrists a bit) I would also recommend getting the V10 or new V12 versions if you're looking for more powerful suction or have higher pile carpets. The V8 is perfect for low-medium pile carpets and especially hardwood and laminate floors! Overall, would definitely buy this again but probably won't have to because Dyson quality=best quality!

I love this Dyson. It does an excellent job of getting dog hair up and I like that I have two different heads - one for carpet and one for tile/hardwood floors!

This cordless vacuum cleaner is perfect for our 2-story house. It is little bit heavy to carry up and down the stairs, but it's light compared to others.

So far this product has been used more frequently then previous vacuums. This product is easily accessible and extremely portable. Well made.
