( I vacuum 2-3 times a day) yes DAY. Other than the charge not lasting very long it’s freaking awesome. Now this is my first cordless vacuum. But awesome so far thanks Dyson and thank you best buy for the best shopping experience ever

My biggest expectation was a reduction in allergens in my apartment. I do NOT have animals, but I wanted the filters. I am so very happy that I bought this vacuum. I am experiencing a reduction in allergies and due to the light weight nature of the vac, I use it more often.

The wall mount makes it easy to stare and charge. It’s convenient and makes a daily vacuum so easy! Also great on couches and beds; picks up cat hair like it’s nothing. The attachments are useful for getting in tight corners and under the sofa.

The battery doesnt last. I can maybe get one room done on the battery. It’s great on dog hair but any dirt or anything else it ends up pushing around.

We have a newer version, but prefer this one because it’s much easier to open and empty the dirt. Maybe not quite as powerful as newer versions, but stil far more powerful and easy to maneuver than any standard vacuum cleaner you’ve ever had. Again, LOVE it!!

December 25, 2023 I used the website to diagnostic that the battery pack was faulty. I called Dyson the next day. Waiting time was much too long. A spare battery has finally shipped yesterday and I will not see it before January 5, 2023. For a brand new unit this isn't good service. I see nickel and dime having propriety to reputation.

Battery life isn’t that great, no trigger lock for continuous power on, have to hold trigger while using. Too pricey for what you get!

Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). Since then I have gone through several other vacuums that lose their suction after a few use. But not Dyson, it is a great vacuum that is worth its value. If you are on the fence, buy one, try it, and you will fall in love with it.
