Very impressed with this vacuum. Pretty amazing the amount of dirt and pet hair pulled out of our rugs, especially when on the max setting. Very easy to maneuver and is supplied with some versatile tools. Only wish the waste bin was bigger, as it doesn't take much to fill, and it needs to be emptied after each room or rug has been vacuumed.

This vacuum works great and provides the convenience of moving freely without cords. The suction power works very well and is able to pick up almost anything off the floor. Canister is easy to empty and filter easy to clean. Highly recommended and worth the $$$!

we have a house with a perpetual dog hair generator. This vacuum does a good job of picking up hair off hardwood floor as well as low pile carpet. the unit assembly and operation is easy. The unit itself is light enough that it easy to handle, including cleaning the ceiling fans. The battery lasts long enough to clean about 1000 square feet of this house.

Just bought this item and I’m obsessed! Worth every penny. No need for me to get the latest model. We have a Saint Bernard and this vacuum tackles all his shedding! Max setting works better on the hard wood floors.

I have found that this vacuum has done the job it was made to do pretty well, but the battery lasts barely long enough to tackle my carpets! I have to charge it after going over the carpets and before cleaning my couch. Is it worth the money? I don't know. I don't regret my purchase, but it is kind of annoying to charge it so often.

Love it almost went for V-12 but the salesperson was so helpful and I just stuck withV-8 and glad I did. Plus I’m old fashioned and like to speak with the pros before making a purchase not a computer screen.

Very pleased with this vacuum! It is cordless, has eliminated my issue of plugging and unplugging a vacuum each time I change rooms, and getting tangled up in the cord! This vacuum is powerful enough to get through all, if not most, of the upstairs; the charge (when on high power) lasts approximately 20 minutes. It can also get under the couch, bed, dining table and coffee table. I can also vacuum the car easily! Easy to maneuver due to its light weight and low profile! IF I were to change one thing, I would simply give it a slightly larger battery to last a few more minutes.

I hate the fact that vacuums are so expensive now but with that quality is what you pay for. I couldn't believe the amount of stuff this vacuum was able to pick up the first time I used it, even on the lowest setting. It looked like I hadn't vacuumed in months!!!

Does a good job on hardwoods. Seems a little awkward in handling.

Good performance but battery life is to be desired.

Although Dyson products tend to be a little pricey, in my opinion the purchase is totally worth it. You end up paying for the quality which you can't go wrong with. Very lightweight and motor is surprisingly strong! Makes me wonder how long I've been living with a dirty carpet.

When you lift up the lid to dump trash, you will need to pull it hard or the bottom wont open. And when you pull it hard, trash fall every where.

The Dyson V8 works well. I am only giving it 3 stars because the battery dies before I finishing vacuuming my condo. I have about 824 sqft to vacuum and the battery dies before I finish.

So far it works great. I do wish the battery lasted longer.

Far more suction than I had anticipated. Does actually pick up dog hair pretty well. I have an Aussie that leaves hair everywhere and its a pretty good quick solution to that.

The best vacuum ever I have in my life, cleans almost everything and I love it when I can clean my car with it so easily and quick in my garage and don’t have to clean it car wash place anymore. Thank you.

This has been a great addition to our cleaning routine! It picks up pet hair effortlessly, is so easy to use and comes with lots of great attachments. Only gripe is how long the charge lasts, definitely at most 1 hour, also the small tube attachment doesn't suck up as hard as we would like for cleaning the car.

Sucks up pretty much everything. Battery life is the only annoying part. Youll use it then have to charge it. The attachments make it very multipurpose. I would try to find something similar for cheaper if I were you.

Was a little hesitant to spend so much on a cordless vacuum, however, the Dyson is now my all around favorite. Battery life is great, suction is tremendous, would highly recommend to anyone who has pets and needs to quickly clean up in between deep cleanings. I will buy Dyson from now on.

I have never owned a Dyson product before, but after countless recommendations from friends and family, I gave this a try. I as so glad I did!!!! Easy to use, great suction, and FAST charging of the cordless feature!!! LOVE IT!!!!
