Much better than my older Dyson stick vacuum. Works well on pet hair and has useful attachments. Only downside is that the latch to open the waste bin is a bit tricky.

I love this vacuum = no cord so a lot of freedom when vacuuming and suction is very good for battery powered machine ! BUT: it only runs for about 15 minutes using the floor roller attachment (on energy saving mode) and the handle is very hard on the trigger finger and thumb.

I love the Dyson cord-free vacuums. They pick up all the dirt and are cordless so easy to move from room to room and even do the stairs! It's amazing how much dirt is in your house. You will clearly see it after using one of these!

I was not sure how well this would work but was very happy after the first use. We have three dogs and a lot of hardwood floors. After using the vacuum for the first time I was surprised how much it picked up. I use it to just pick up hair and It worked fantastic.

I was a hero with my wife when I brought this home. It has been a great purchase and I highly recommend it with one exception...it has a short battery life. Our home has wood floors and is 1,400 square feet and the battery runs out before we can clean the entire house.

My new Doberman has started sleeping in my bed. She sheds very short hairs that were driving me crazy. I tried sticky pads, but they did not work. Broke down and bought this and it works perfectly! Picks up all the hairs with one pass. I use the short attachment and vacuum before I make the bed, and the hairs are gone! I have used it in the rest of the house as well, but having to hold the “trigger” to keep it running is hard for my hands (I have arthritis). For older people, I wouldn’t recommend it as the only vacuum for the house. But it is perfect for my intended use on the bed and am very happy with it!

We recently purchased a cordless Dyson vacuum [our 1st Dyson purchase]. Because of the name, we thought we would give it a try. The box said that the charge would last 40 minutes - enough to do the majority of our house. It lasted 15 minutes. Worst - it takes 4 hours to re-charge it. Needless to say, I returned it to Best Buy. I was going to exchange it for an electric Dyson vacuum, but BB doesn't carry them. Hello Sam's next door....they do. It has great suction power, and lasts as long as I want it to, Really like it. When we went back to BB and was looking for the electric model, a couple was about to buy the cordless Dyson. We let them know our experience and not to waste their money on it.

Purchased this as a replacement and let me say, I should've purchased it in the first place. For a wireless vacuum this thing has power. Charges pretty quick and the charge last pretty long. Granted, I don't have a large carpet area but I also use it on hard floor surface. I love this product.

I just love my Dyson V8 Vacuum. I had tried so many other vacuums, until I tried this one. It vacuums so well, especially my cat's hair. I love this vacuum. I really recommend the Dyson V8 Animal Cord-Free Stick Vacuum.

Love this vacuum. The suction is constant and it picks up more dirt than my previous units. The battery last long enough to clean all four bedrooms the living room and the dining room and still has enough for my car.

I like the dyson cordless vacuum cleaner but it would be great if it glided over the surfaces easier. Sometimes I have to really push the vacuum to get over the rug. However, that is the only drawback and why I didn’t give it 5 stars. Otherwise it is nice to be able to grab & go without worrying about a cord.

I upgraded to the Animal after many years with my other Dyson stick vacuum, and I couldn't be happier with this one. It's much quieter and rolls along the floor really well! Like it a lot!

This cordless Dyson is way better than any competitors brand. I have a Corded Dyson vacuum and decided to give this a try for the small areas and stairs. Overall great vacuum and I would recommend to everyone.

All the little things like how easy it is to empty the dirt cup, switch accessories make the fact that this thing works really well that much better We’ve tried cheaper options and they don’t clean as well and just aren’t as easy to use.

Arrived DOA. Trying to get a replacement through Dyson because I missed the return window by 1 day with Best Buy

I am fairly satisfied with this vacuum. I do feel like it cleans very well, but the battery life is awful.

I bought this at the request of my wife. She wanted something cordless for our tile and wood floors. This vacuum works great on hard surfaces and I have used it in my Jeep as well. Battery life is good enough it just works.

I love this vacuum! The suction is strong and the convenience of being cordless can't be beat. The battery last a good while. Definitely recommend - Dyson is the best.

Dyson is a premium brand and this is a gift for our nephew for his wedding (per their registry of course as I would not normally buy someone a vacuum even one as kickin’ as this for their wedding). This is the real deal and I rexcmmend it highly.

This thing is GREAT, you will be amazed of what it picks up after you use it. The only issue is the battery doesn't last long but that is common and I'm not using it as my main vacuum but does amazing for quick clean up.
