Excellent product. The suction ability is incredible. My room looks 10 tines cleaner now and 40 minutes is a really long time so it’s perfect to last that long. Everyone should go out and buy one.

When I got this vacuum it was great the suction was amazing on my carpet. Bought less then 2 yrs ago. Plugged it in 3 days ago and it’s not charging anymore. I am soooo disappointed that it malfunctioned so fast considering it’s quite pricey. It’s easy and convint to use especially on stairs and now all hardwood floors that I have. But for the price I was expecting to get more life out of it then less then 2 yrs!!!!

i thought that i was paying a lot and worried about it not being worth it but it definitely is worth it because it works as described if not better I just absolutely love this machine.

Love this vacuum! I've had only similar models before only to have them break down or not work as well. Very easy to use and emptying the container is a breeze!

The ease of grabbing this vacuum just to clean up scattered litter or dust is what makes it my all time favorite vacuum!! Love it!

Overall I’m really impressed with the shark v8 animal cord free vacuum. It’s very easy and quick to pick up. I wish it would pick up bigger cramps that my dog will leave. Sometimes I have to lift it up a bit to suck them up. Very light weight.

Once you try one of these Dyson cordless vacuums you won't want to use any other vacuum. Can't beat the ease and convenience of this vacuum.

This was a replacement for an older model. It was on sale since a newer model came out. Having cats I wanted to try the animal version. It works well. I am glad I bought it too.

Where do I start... Its Amazing! I really love this vaccum. I was a little hesitant at first due to the cost but now that I have had the opportunity to use it I cant say I regret it. Definitely recommend it!

Performs admirably. Works great on hard flooring. The power brush head has a small flap that keeps small particles from being kicked back. Perfect for animal lovers.

Best vacuum I have ever spent money on! Does exactly what it needs to do! Holds charge very well. Easy to use, not heavy at all which is the best part.

This is the best vacuum cleaner ever. I have 2 kids and 2 cats that shed and make a mess everywhere and this vacuum cleans great. It picks up all the pet hair. Works great on wood, carpet, and tile. Definitely worth the money!

I love this floor cleaner!! Needed an easier way to clean floors since having a back injury. It works great and the cleaning pads are washable and easy to apply.

Not happy for the money they cost, not worth it. Had motor replaced and it hesitate, very annoying.

Does an excellent job on both floors and rugs and I really like the swivel feature to get dirt from under and around furniture. I would have liked a little more room for my fingers as you must engage the trigger to keep it running.

Small, light, powerful, and perfect for our hardwood floors. Dragging out the big Dyson each time was just overkill. Love the wall mounted bracket and design of the extra tools.

I have owned a couple full size Dyson vacuums in the past and I have been very happy with them, so I thought I would give this one a try too! It has the same build quality as most of the dyson products, pretty much all thick plastic parts, but i've never had a problem with anything breaking. The one time I did have one of the latches break on a Dyson product it was very easy to get a replacement part for free because it was still covered under warranty. I have to say that I really do like the form factor of this unit. It is very lightweight and is very easy to maneuver around. It is also very easy to get in places that a regular vacuum cleaner simply cant. The multiple attachments will pretty much cover any kind of vacuuming you would need to do. Would be nice to have one designed for hardwood floors, and I know Dyson has one, but it's not included with this specific model. I found that I was easily able to reach all areas on my floors whether they were carpet, hardwood, or linoleum. I was also able to easily reach up in the corners of the ceiling with the long pole attached to get cobwebs, and it didn't really add that much extra weight to the unit. Now for the performance. I found that this vacuum did a good job of most day to day tasks, but I have a feeling that on the lower power setting (high suction) wouldn't be enough power to get a deep clean on your carpets. It will easily pick up a lot of surface stuff, but I have a feeling it wouldn't have enough suction to get deep down on a thicker carpet, so i'm not sure if this would be able to replace a full size vacuum or not. As a test I took some shredded paper out of my shredder and threw it on the floor and stepped on it to grind it in the carpet a little bit, and it was easily able to pick it all up with one pass. The battery life was accurate for the lower setting, I was easily getting 30-45 minutes of run time on that setting. There is also a higher setting (max suction) that I think would do a much better job of cleaning thicker carpet and on that setting I think it could be a suitable replacement for a full size vacuum. The only problem is that you only get 7 minutes of run time on a full charge at the higher suction setting (I was able to get 8 before it died) So if you don't have a large area to vacuum...this might be perfect for you. The nice part is that the vacuum goes on and off with a simple trigger. That allows you to easily turn the vacuum off for a few seconds if you are not using it instead of having to try and fight with foot switches like you'd find on a regular vacuum. I think this vacuum would really be suited for just grabbing to do a quick clean before company came over, or if you had a little spill of something. Or cleaning out your car, or getting up in the corners of the ceiling. Works great on steps too because it's so small. I think it could definitely compliment a full size vacuum, but I don't know about replacing it altogether. I would say try it out, and see what you think! Would be nice if the battery was easily removable and a higher capacity one was available. I know it would add a little more weight, but it might be worth it for some people who could handle it to get the longer cleaning time on maximum suction. Overall I think it is a great product and I can see myself using it very often for cleaning tasks around the house and in my car. I think it is another great Dyson product, but it comes with the usual high Dyson price tag. Definitely worth checking out though if you are in the market for a vacuum cleaner.
