Only complaint would be about battery life. If you use the full suction it cuts down on battery life by quite a bit, but it really adds a lot more suction for when you need it.

Easy to empty once you learn how. Holds a charge well. Light weight and great for everyday use. It cakes with attachments that are very useful.

It’s so easy to use and gets up everything, everywhere! Best vacuum I’ve ever purchased.

Rarely need to use the high suction mood and can vacuum about 1000sqft multiple times before needing to charge again!

However….the battery life is absolute garbage. For being a Dyson and the amount of money you pay for it, I am very disappointed.

Posted .Hey Joe, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear you've found the V8's run time to be disappointing. Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). I really like being able to clean up small messes with the ease of just grabbing and vacuuming. I wish the dirt container was a little bit bigger, but I just need to learn to empty it more often.

I would love it if the vacuum time was a bit longer, but I am happy with the way it is now. I would recommend this product to all pet owners.
