I would never go back to a large bulky vacuum again! I use this V8 for everything. I have a dog who sheds a lot and it picks up the hair from my carpet and under the couch!

I never could find anything to clean wood floors without throwing dirt around. So much suction works great on floor and carpet. I have now thrown out my broom and my regular vacuum. I love it. Best vacuum for pet hair

Love this vacuum. I bought this one for my daughter because I love mine so much. It is so nice to not have to get a large vacuum out. The suction is great for the house or car.

We purchased this vacuum for my mother. She has back issues and cannot use a heavy vacuum. This was easy for her to push and clean exerting a lot of pressure on her back. Very happy with the purchase !

We have dogs. We use this vacuum daily. Light weight, easily maneuvers around furniture, under furniture. Easy to empty dirt canister. Could not be happier.

Suction on the low setting is not very strong. You have to have it on high suction all the time and eats through the battery. Other than that good vacuum for quick around the house cleanup.

This is awesome. It has enough suction and lasts long enough to handle day-to-day dog fur cleaning without pulling out the larger vac. This is my favorite Chirstmas present.

Overall I’m really impressed with the shark v8 animal cord free vacuum. It’s very easy and quick to pick up. I wish it would pick up bigger cramps that my dog will leave. Sometimes I have to lift it up a bit to suck them up. Very light weight.

This powerful cordless vacuum is an actual pleasure to use...considering the chore itself is not always the most enjoyable of the household cleaning projects... It's fun.

This vacuum really sucks!! And that's a good thing. The extreme suction on it is great! Run time is good enough for me to do my entire house twice without recharging (about 1200 sq feet).

I have owned a couple full size Dyson vacuums in the past and I have been very happy with them, so I thought I would give this one a try too! It has the same build quality as most of the dyson products, pretty much all thick plastic parts, but i've never had a problem with anything breaking. The one time I did have one of the latches break on a Dyson product it was very easy to get a replacement part for free because it was still covered under warranty. I have to say that I really do like the form factor of this unit. It is very lightweight and is very easy to maneuver around. It is also very easy to get in places that a regular vacuum cleaner simply cant. The multiple attachments will pretty much cover any kind of vacuuming you would need to do. Would be nice to have one designed for hardwood floors, and I know Dyson has one, but it's not included with this specific model. I found that I was easily able to reach all areas on my floors whether they were carpet, hardwood, or linoleum. I was also able to easily reach up in the corners of the ceiling with the long pole attached to get cobwebs, and it didn't really add that much extra weight to the unit. Now for the performance. I found that this vacuum did a good job of most day to day tasks, but I have a feeling that on the lower power setting (high suction) wouldn't be enough power to get a deep clean on your carpets. It will easily pick up a lot of surface stuff, but I have a feeling it wouldn't have enough suction to get deep down on a thicker carpet, so i'm not sure if this would be able to replace a full size vacuum or not. As a test I took some shredded paper out of my shredder and threw it on the floor and stepped on it to grind it in the carpet a little bit, and it was easily able to pick it all up with one pass. The battery life was accurate for the lower setting, I was easily getting 30-45 minutes of run time on that setting. There is also a higher setting (max suction) that I think would do a much better job of cleaning thicker carpet and on that setting I think it could be a suitable replacement for a full size vacuum. The only problem is that you only get 7 minutes of run time on a full charge at the higher suction setting (I was able to get 8 before it died) So if you don't have a large area to vacuum...this might be perfect for you. The nice part is that the vacuum goes on and off with a simple trigger. That allows you to easily turn the vacuum off for a few seconds if you are not using it instead of having to try and fight with foot switches like you'd find on a regular vacuum. I think this vacuum would really be suited for just grabbing to do a quick clean before company came over, or if you had a little spill of something. Or cleaning out your car, or getting up in the corners of the ceiling. Works great on steps too because it's so small. I think it could definitely compliment a full size vacuum, but I don't know about replacing it altogether. I would say try it out, and see what you think! Would be nice if the battery was easily removable and a higher capacity one was available. I know it would add a little more weight, but it might be worth it for some people who could handle it to get the longer cleaning time on maximum suction. Overall I think it is a great product and I can see myself using it very often for cleaning tasks around the house and in my car. I think it is another great Dyson product, but it comes with the usual high Dyson price tag. Definitely worth checking out though if you are in the market for a vacuum cleaner.

Amazing sweeper and the ability to not have a cord is great! Battery is good on normal setting, but Max suction does not last too long.

Excellent product. The suction ability is incredible. My room looks 10 tines cleaner now and 40 minutes is a really long time so it’s perfect to last that long. Everyone should go out and buy one.

The battery would last for 45 minutes for the first month but after that we were lucky to get 10 minutes out of it after charging it all night

i thought that i was paying a lot and worried about it not being worth it but it definitely is worth it because it works as described if not better I just absolutely love this machine.

Excellent as a detail vacuum. Barely lasts 10 min. No height adjustment so I cannot use it in one of my carpeted rooms. Not good as a main vac.

Does an excellent job on both floors and rugs and I really like the swivel feature to get dirt from under and around furniture. I would have liked a little more room for my fingers as you must engage the trigger to keep it running.

This is hands down a great vacuum and has made my life so much easier when it comes to cleaning. Not only mine actually, it makes my family happy. My family feel so much more happier vacuuming since they don't have to keep replugging the switch to different outlets since our house is big. They vacuum way more often now as well because of how easy it is. The only flaw or issue I had with the vacuum so far is the cannister to dump the gunk out. Sometimes the junk would get stuck when you're trying to empty it out and I think that's a result from the cannister compacting too much dust and it gets too full. There comes a point where we'd need to shake the cannister for the trash to come out or even pull it out with our fingers. No matter how you drop the pile of dust and hair you collected, it will always hit the surface and throw up more dust into the air and it low-key makes me freak out a bit. Other than that, I had no other issues!
