Broke after 2 months light use

This was my second Dyson purchase, from Best Buy. After only 2 months of light use, the main head stopped spinning. There is nothing caught in it, and no obvious reason that it stopped spinning. I took it to Best Buy and they told me that since I did not buy the protection plan, they can't help me. They said it should still be under warranty though with Dyson, and that I should contact Dyson. Disappointed in this purchase. Hopefully it is a one off

I can't finish any vacuum job as the battery dies so quickly. Now I need to purchase another vacuum so I can keep my house clean.

Worst vacuum I’ve ever used. Battery lasts 20 min. My house is all wood floors other than 3 low profile area rugs. Can even clean the rugs without getting stuck. Very disappointed after coming from the corded Shark version of this vacuum.

Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool).
