HEPA filter keeps from stirring up allegrens and the attachments make it easy to pick up pet hair and dirt in a two floor apartment. Max power mode really deep cleans and the battery lasts long enough to do the entire place with plenty of charge left.

Posted .Hello Chelsea, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to learn you've felt the suction in your V8 isn't as powerful as you like. Your machine offers two modes of suction power - regular for everyday cleaning, and MAX, for an added boost for those more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). If you feel that your V8 might be malfunctioning, we do offer a two-year warranty on this product. Just reach out to our customer support at askdysonUS@dyson.com so we can help.

Love this vacuum

It is easy to maneuver through the house without a cord. The only thing I would say it is a bit complicated taking it apart to clean out but I'm sure we'll get the hang of it.
