    If you don’t own a Dyson you should. I vacuum my whole house upstairs and down carpet and tile

    If you are running this on max power don't expect it to last any more than 5 minutes. That's according to Dyson support. Seriously. $400 for a vacuum that lasts 5 minutes, can't even finish 1 one room. The regular setting doesn't seen powerful enough for carpets.

      Hi Trisha, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry if you were disappointed with the run time from your Dyson V8 Animal. I can confirm that in MAX mode, this will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. This mode does provide a generous boost of suction, allowing you enough power for more stubborn messes or larger debris. We have found that regular suction should work for your everyday vacuuming needs, on both bare floors or carpets, and will provide enough suction for your daily messes.

      While we don't ever expect issues to occur, Dyson does back your new machine from an authorized retailer with a free 2-year guarantee.
