Buy If You Want Vacuuming to Take Days

I really wanted to love this... I fully charged it before the first use and tried to vacuum my 1,400 sq ft home. It died after the first 20 minutes. I then tried to charge it to finish the job... charging takes several hours. It took me 2 days to vacuum my home and then when I checked the high-pile carpet after, there was still pet hair. Not only that, the brush roller would get jammed and stop rolling so I had to push it harder than I should've. I returned it several days later. It's not worth the price tag.

Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). If you feel that your V8 might be malfunctioning, we do offer a two-year warranty on this product. Just reach out to our customer support at askdysonUS@dyson.com so we can help.

Bought this to replace an older Dyson V7 with failing battery. It’s a worthy replacement with one more attachment than the V7 for animal hair. The V8 is very effective at removing dog hair from the one rug we have in the house and noticeably better at removing animal dog hair from the car, which the V7 barely touched. Only downside is that it’s a bit heavier, the trade off for better suction. Battery life is as advertised.

Barely get my steps done. Unit made of mostly cheap and thin plastic. Low power mode is useless. Disappointed in dyson and this quality after using other models snd this high cost.

I knew right away that i wanted to get him a Dyson. I jumped online and began comparing specs and reviews. This was the best choice. I sent it to him and he tild me this was exactly what he wanted. He loves it. It is powerful, lightweight, and easy to maneuver. It also doesn't take up a lot of storage space. And of course, it's a Dyson!!!

It constantly gets clogged up and loses suction and has to be taken apart. It regurgitates mounds of dirt when you shut it off. This is my second Dyson and will be my last

Within 5 months of purchase, it wasn't working, ie the motor would stop & go. Best Buy could not help, I had to call Dyson directly but they wouldn't help since I hadn't registered the product, despite my providing a serial number. Once I registered, they never let me know that I hadn't provided sufficient proof of purchase. And they only reason they told me was because I kept asking why - what did they need. Will never buy a Dyson again.
