    Stopped Working After 1 Year

    Stopped working one year after purchasing under incredibly light use. It is absolutely not worth buying. I'm incredibly disappointed because we bought this assuming Dyson was a quality brand.

    This is the worst vacuum I have ever purchased. Battery life does not last long, and it doesn't pick up everything. My cheap vacuum works better than this one.

    Disappointed!

    The vacuum works well however the battery life is unacceptable. I can't finish any vacuum job as the battery dies so quickly. Now I need to purchase another vacuum so I can keep my house clean.

    Worth every penny!

    I have central vac and hate it. The Dyson makes life so much easier. It picks up everything and is so easy to use. Assembly was quick which I appreciated. Really easy to move around. And easy to carry up and down the stairs. Getting rid of the central vac and only using the Dyson.

    This vacuum only runs for about 10 minutes before it dies. Completely useless. I have to keep it charging.

    I was excited to use this, but battery did not last for 10 mins with full charge! Had to return in store, unfortunately. There are cheaper alternatives with the same function. Was even told by Best Buy that people return this because of battery issues.

    Broke after 2 months light use

    I always liked Dyson because they have strong suction and are easy to clean. This was my second Dyson purchase, from Best Buy. After only 2 months of light use, the main head stopped spinning. There is nothing caught in it, and no obvious reason that it stopped spinning. I took it to Best Buy and they told me that since I did not buy the protection plan, they can't help me. They said it should still be under warranty though with Dyson, and that I should contact Dyson. Disappointed in this purchase. Hopefully it is a one off

    This is compact and powerful. Only drawback is batter when it’s on max power.

Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool).     Bad Experience

    When I wanted to use it the unit was defective. December 25, 2023 I used the website to diagnostic that the battery pack was faulty. I called Dyson the next day. Waiting time was much too long. A spare battery has finally shipped yesterday and I will not see it before January 5, 2023. For a brand new unit this isn't good service. I see nickel and dime having propriety to reputation.

    Just What I Wanted!

    I had a 7 year old V6 that was not working as well as it used. This is a great upgrade! On nirmal the motor is very quiet. It has great sucktiin and picks up all the cat hair in my black area rug. Good battery life too. I highly recommend getting the V8 cordless.

    Brush roll issues

    The brush roll would constantly stop after a few seconds. I had to keep pressing and releasing the power button to get it to go again and then it would stop again. Initially, I thought it was the surface, but I tried it on every different type of flooring and it repeated the same issue.

    Picked up on today and used it until charge ran out and loved the quality of the suction. Can't wait until it's completely charged in five hours then I will get the good workout. Replaced my older Dyson with this cordless one. Love this companies products.

    Battery doesn’t last long. Otherwise I really enjoy the flexibility of a handheld and floor features. Helps alot because I have to vacuum everyday because of cat hair.

    So far this is the best little vac I’ve gotten in a long time. I vacuumed the whole house with no problems at all. The only time I stopped was to change the plug position. Powerful enough that I don’t have to go over the same fifty times.
