However….the battery life is absolute garbage. For being a Dyson and the amount of money you pay for it, I am very disappointed.

Posted .Hey Joe, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear you've found the V8's run time to be disappointing. Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). If you feel that your V8 might be malfunctioning, we do offer a two-year warranty on this product. Just reach out to our customer support at askdysonUS@dyson.com so we can help.

Dyson cordless vacuum
