use it twice and it didnt charge more than 10 minutes. useless

I bought this unit in 2022 and after 3 years, it is still going strong for speedy cleanups. My only gripe about this unit is its short time being a rechargeable unit. Easy to clean this unit and just keeps on going. How I wish this have an option to put a cord on it so it can have clean continuously. Other than that, this is definitely a great unit. I even bought a dog hair vacuum brush to use with this unit and it is still doing great. I hope that I will have more life out of this unit.

I purchased this vacuum around 4 years ago, and it just now bit the dust. The battery needs to be replaced (20 second battery life, lol), but also, the handle part completely broke. The plastic part cracked, and I can't jimmy it back together to make it last longer. I'm kind of surprised that this happened, considering we used the wall mount to store it and took good care of it overall. All things considered, I still give this vacuum 4 out of 5 stars. -I love the ease of using this. It maneuvers well and rolls under our couch just fine. -It has really great suction, and does better than any other handheld vacuum we've had. The carpet suction is top notch, but sucks the battery down a lot faster. -It is easy to clean and lets you know when the filter needs to be washed. All the parts easily open and the bucket is easy to empty. I am considering purchasing another, but also have my eye on a couple other models from other brands. I love this vacuum, but really wish it lasted longer for the price paid.

Great vacuum cleaner. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and I have gone through several vacuums that I have purchased on line, and this one has been the best by far. I paid extra for this vacuum and it has out performed the previous vacuums that I have purchased the past 2 years

Light weight, sucks debris off of the floor really well. Love the attachments, very versatile vacuum

I LOVE this Dyson model. This is the 3rd V8 I've purchased over the last 10 years. I have 2 dogs and 2 boys and use this product daily--it is amazing on all floor finishes, dog beds, couches, rugs, etc...and none of the other models I've tried compare with the V8!

This thing is sweet and I haven't used my old corded vacuum since I got it. I also have a cordless Bissell but it was weak and worse than using a broom. I use the Dyson on the max mode so the battery doesn't last super long, but I also don't vacuum for more than 20 minutes straight. I think this is great for non carpeted floors but it can also do some carpet fine. I watched a video of someone just abusing it and was impressed. I never had a Dyson before and this thing is easy to empty and easy to maneuver. I love having no cord and would buy this thing again.

I've been using this for the past five years, and it still performs like it's brand new! I love it so much that I'm buying one as a gift for my brother-in-law, who just moved into his new home..

Overall like the power it has. However, there is no light, the brush is more plastic than brush and it’s very cumbersome. You need to hold the power button continuously like a gun and the unit (which is heavy) sits on your hand. I’ve purchased cheaper stick vacuums that were easy to push and had lights at around $89-100. This vacuum is much more expensive. Paying for the Dyson name I guess and again it does seem to pick up nicely just wish it was easier to push and had lights.

This vacuum is better than we thought, we use it for everything! Very versatile with any attachment necessary. We clean rugs, floors, stairs, carpet and the car with ease! We can’t believe how much this thing picks up. The battery life is okay for our needs on normal power, but expect to charge it after any extended use or much time on max power. Still, this is the best vac we’ve ever had.

Love this vacuum. Does a way better job than my old one. Like how it comes with different heads. Great cleaning tight areas.

I would highly recommend this vacuum. I have animals and there is no issue removing the hair from my couch, floor, etc. The install is very easy for the wall mount charger. The battery last long on the regular mode, it does go much quicker on the high mode. Although it did last longer than I expected. In the end I still give this vacuum 5 stars

This vacuum blows away the competition. I purchased this after a pet vacuum of mine died after one year. This one does a much better job of cleaning up cat hair and the support available is just the cherry on top.

Good vacuum, holds a charge for a very long time! The attachments are great as well. It does not do well with things like cat litter though. I’ve tried to get some of it up, but only the max power will really help it and there are some issues with the max power. Keep turning on and off. It get overheated. The compartment is pretty small but it’s super easy to clean out. Overall it’s great, but don’t overload it or it craps out.

This was the best purchase ever. The ONLY reason for a 4 star review vs. a 5 star is that I wish the canister was a bit larger. My home is 1800 square feet and I have to empty it at least once before I am able to continue through the house. However, this truly is my favorite purchase in over 50 years.

Easy to use for a variety of tasks. The biggest plus is hair and string don't get wrapped around the roller. If there is a clog, the parts are easy to take apart, remove the clog and put it back together unlike every one of the many brands that I wasted money on over the years.

Absolutely love my Dyson! I had been wanting one for so long and I finally got one. We have a German Shepard and she sheds crazy. The Dyson is great for big cleaning days or just a quick vacuum!

We have one and bought another one to gift to my mother in law. It’s a nice vacuum! However, ours wont charge anymore. :(

very convenient! Especially when you don't feel like taking out the large vacuum cleaner. Great quality good investment for cleaning up and the Dyson last a long time! I will definitely recommend to buy this product!@

This vacuum shows how much dust collects on my floor on a daily basis. It is powerful and not very noisey. I also like how light weight it is. Now the cons. It is a bit pricey for just a vacuum cleaner. I became addicted to Dyson after my first purchase. It doesn’t stand on it’s own. I wish it had a light. No regrets. It’s awesome.
