Unfortunately, they no longer let you pay for Geek Squad protection up front and it is now a monthly fee. As if people don't already have enough monthly bills to keep track of, just change it back please.

The bottom hatch cover drops open and the vacuumed particles start flying out all over the vicinity of where I am. Just dust all over the place. One would need another vacuum to suck up the dust.

This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). If you feel that your V8 might be malfunctioning, we do offer a two-year warranty on this product. Just reach out to our customer support at askdysonUS@dyson.com so we can help.

not a replacement for corded

He uses this vacuum everyday on his vinyl laminate flooring and rugs. He has a long haired German Shepard that constantly sheds. This vacuum would make you think he didn’t even have a dog. If you are considering this vacuum, just buy it you won’t regret it.

We have hardwood floors with a washable area rug in our living room. This vacuum works great on hardwood, but the moment i tried to vacuum the area rug, the vacuum stopped every time. Also the vacuum head doesn't always stay flat on the ground. Will be returning this one less than 24 hr after buying.

The worst!!!!!

If you’re buying it for hardwood floors then you’ll love it but if you want to use it on carpet - it SUCKS!!!! I wish I never would have bought it! It says it’s clogged or the air filter needs cleaned and you do all the things and it still doesn’t work. I’ve taken this thing apart and cleaned it more times than I’ve used it!! The worst! Save your money!! I’m going to have to go and buy another vacuum cleaner just for bedroom carpets and you better believe it’s not going to be a Dyson!!
