Shark Can't compare to Dyson

I've owned uprights from Dyson for as long as I can remember and loved them. I tried other brands but nothing compared to a Dyson. I can confidently say that the stick vacuum is just as good if not better. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the battery life and how I wished I had purchased the V10 model. But that was my mistake.

That kills it for me. I bought one for 1/2 the price and the battery lasts 40 min. This one lasts 15 max!

Posted .Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). Problem is battery life Wouldn't it be best if they made a battery that you can switch out so you can continue cleaning while the other one charges! Plus it takes like 4 hours to fully charge and you cant use it while its plugged in!! Just bought one from amazon that feels like a dyson and also battery lasts around 50 min and can switch the battery.
