    Gift for daughter so this is her review: So happy to finally made the switch to Dyson. The V8 Animal is easy to use, lightweight and barely takes up any storage space. I especially love the added suction strength for helping me pull up embedded cat hair in the carpet, and the detachable feature so I can vacuum my car out! I find myself getting excited to vacuum now!

    This was a gift for my wife. We love it, very easy to use on both carpet and our Pergo floor. YouTube reviews show that it doesn’t pick up large objects like Cheerios but I guess I don’t have an issue with that because I’m not dropping a bowl of cereal on the ground. Great for quick cleanups as well as cleaning the whole house. Great for stairs too.

    Very happy! This is our second Dyson cordless vac. First one lasted for years, did have to buy a battery replacement before it finally died. The new model has a better feel, very easy to maneuver around and under things, seems quieter, easier and more efficient to dump the trash out. Quick, convenient and easy to use for many jobs.

    We own a Roomba as well as a full size Dyson (hello messy boy household) and I have to say this little sucker is my favorite tool of the house! It has powerful suction, stays charged for quite a while and gets all the messiness up without the lug of a full size vaccum. The smaller attachments are also wonderful for the car as well as small spaces!

    Scared myself spending so much for a vacuum cleaner however it is so convenient it is so well worth it. I find myself grabbing it when i see a small spot and end up doing most of the house. Also i am asthmatic and find emptying my big vacuum can kick off a reaction but this vacuum piece of cake. The cordless feature is wonderful.

    Overall, we’re pretty happy with this vacuum. This is the second one we’ve purchased, one for our business and one for home. From experience, the battery doesn’t have a long life, 2 years and it won’t hold a charge for very long. I replaced the battery with one from Dyson and it too isn’t holding a charge very long after only a couple years. Genuine Dyson replacement batteries are about $100, so figure on that. Only giving 4 out of 5 because of cost and battery life.
