We held off always buying overpriced items, but we caved into giving it a try after our older cordless vacuum died. I will say it certainly does live up to the hype. Great suction even at the normal setting. The battery does drain a little faster than advertised when on the max mode. Overall great though

Vacuuming used to be one of my least favorite chores, but now the Dyson has me vacuuming every week because it's so fun and easy. With my old vacuum, it felt like a full body workout trying to push it across carpet, but the Dyson glides across carpet so easily (and hardwood too, of course) and picks up every strand of hair that I shed - and I shed A LOT. The additional tools are also great for getting into those tight spaces and cleaning hair/fur off the couch. It's super easy to take apart to clean as well. I know some people say the battery life could be higher, but this is my first cordless vacuum so I can't really compare to others, and honestly I'm just glad I don't have to deal with the hassle of holding on to/tripping over the vacuum cord. It doesn't take too long to charge either which is nice. I personally don't use the docking station to charge but it's a cool feature I guess. This is definitely the most I've ever spent on a vacuum, but I think it was totally worth it!

I would give it a 5/5 but the only reason I gave it a 4/5 is because the vaccum lasts only about 10 minutes and then I need to charge it which is not good. I now wish I knew that because I would rather get a vaccum that has a cord so that I don’t have to worry about how long it will last. Especially with the price this vaccum is.

I'm enjoying it so far. I'd been watching it for a while and when it went on sale for$200 off I pounced. M glad I did. It's lightweight, pretty quiet and seems to have good suction. The main spinning head swivels to run along stairs easily. Battery lasts as long as I need. My dog isn't even scared of it and she normally runs from the big Miele upright vacuum we have. I only wish there was storage for more than 2 attachments on the charging mount.

I was looking for something that without cable chargeable because my house it’s too big as that one. I’m really happy with it and I have seven pets. There is no even one here in my house right now.

I love my vacuum because it’s easy to handle. I love the cordless feature. Cleans amazingly and it’s very easy to empty the trash.

My home is about 1100 sqft. Just me and one dog that doesn't shed much. Works really well. Plenty of charge to do the whole house and clean some furniture. Great attachments. The head for the floor is motorized and the upholstery attachment is motorized so it does a great job cleaning pet hair out of furniture. Great for a quick clean of vehicle floor mats. Has two suction/power levels. I've never had the battery run down using it in standard mode. I've read will last 20 minutes, but I always finish before then. The super suction will last about 7 mins. The good thing about the trigger operation is you can let go and conserve battery power between rooms/areas. My house is all hardwood and/or tile. The head is rotating for carpet, but it doesn't hurt the hardwood or tile. Does a great job of picking up. Canister is easy to empty. The wall mounting charging kit is easy to install too. So convenient for those quick cleanups when you don't want to drag out a regular vacuum, but unless your house is really big and a lot of people and pets, this will be more than enough. Charges from dead to full in about 5 hours.

I love this vacuum. It's light and powerful and you can do the whole house in so much less time because you do not have to plug and unplug it all the time to go from room to room. My only wish is that it had a light.

The vacuum itself is great. We have an 1800 square foot house, and I feel like it’s the perfect size to vacuum the entire house, even with a husky. However, I’m reducing it by one star because the battery life is terrible. It takes a long time to recharge, and it’s not a huge deal because I can deep clean about half of the house in one charge and then charge again. But I wish there were battery replacements so I could just swap them out as needed.

It's so lightweight. Did the whole house on 1 charge. It's powerful and picks up everything. It could probably use a power button that stays on without holding it. But its not that much of a bother. Could've had better instructions.

I bought this stick Vac because I wanted a vacuum that was light weight and easy to use for quick jobs. I use it in the bathroom and kitchen and also around the cat litter box. It has great suction power and is easy to handle plus I love that it is cordless!

I’ve owned a few stick vacuums, but this one is by far the best. Great suction, but isn’t too heavy to carry. The attachments switch out very easily. The only thing to consider is battery life, this isn’t my main vacuum so it lasts long enough for me, but the battery does run out quickly especially when using max suction.

Picks up okay but loses charge fast Bought April 25, and roller brush stopped working. Unable to fix on own

Everything is positive. Lightweight, sufficient battery life (no cord), very strong suction, easy to empty (no bags), easy to use, good attachments, easy to store when not in use, but needs electrical outlet - plug in when not in use to keep battery charged.

The vacuum works great. It gets to every place in my house with ease and can really get everything in my carpets. The only downside is that I wish the battery lasted a little longer. Aside from that, I'm glad I finally went with Dyson.

I love Dyson! Particularly their floor tools. This one is great because of the enhancements and all the attachments. I used this on a daily basis. It was worth the cost. It's a time-saver.
