    Great concept no cords easy to use the only thing that I was frustrated with the charge doesn’t last long even though I called the company and they told me how to charge it and it’ll last at least 25 minutes well I follow the rules but it still doesn’t last that long

      Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing short run times from your Dyson V8 Animal. Your machine offers two suction modes; MAX which the machine will be set to right out of the box, and standard suction. MAX is designed to provide a boost of power for more stubborn messes or larger debris. This mode will give you about 7 minutes of run time. If you slide the slider over to the other mode of suction, on a full charge you should get up to 30-40 minutes of run time, depending on if you're using a motorized tool.

    Pros-wireless, easy to discard what you collect, easy to use, easy detachable parts, battery last long, low maintenance machine, easy to charge, hanging station Cons- I wish it would have the option to vacuum hardwoods, on max suction it runs battery down faster Great product!!!!!

      Hi there! Please check to see if your machine is set to MAX, if so please try High Suction. Max is for spot cleaning only and will provide a 5-10 minute runtime, High Suction will provide UP TO 40 minutes depending on the tool being used.     The Charge only lasts 10 min. Not even to clean the halves of the house and my house only has 1700 square feet

      Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool).     We bought this one as a gift for our son & daughter-in-law who have 2 dogs. We have the V6 and love it. Really the best feature is how convenient it is to just grab it off the wall mount and run through some high traffic areas. We still use our full-size Dyson for whole house cleaning but this gets used several times a week!
