With the Dyson name and advertising which claims that this is a superior device, I had high expectations. What I actually got was something less, primarily less "vacuum" or suction which has proven to be inadequate for most household chores. It is now relegated to "dusting" tabletops and small chores such as picking up crumbs from the floor. I do hope that other buyers are more satisfied than I am. I now consider my purchase to be a foolish buy rather than a best buy.

Your vacuum, while smaller, lightweight and cordless, can still pack the same power as a corded vacuum cleaner. Loss of suction can be generally attributed to a dirty filter or blockage some place within the machine. Second one looks good, but still not solid enough. Hopefully will last few years. Definitely this is a good tool for any house ;)
