Bought it for my fiancé but I love using it also. So efficient and powerful for cleaning the entire house and even my car. Easy to get under the bed and has several attachments for sofa, car, etc) Cordless is the way to go. Comes with wall mount that attaches to charger so it’s always charging when on mount. I like that it stops charging when battery is full. Also, our dog sheds significantly so it makes it really easy to clean up all the hair. It is pricey but when a product makes your life easier, it’s worth it.

The charge last a good long time, however charging to full charge, takes 4 hours (a bit longer than expected). Overall, I'm very satisfied.

On an overnight full charge we would get a full 24 seconds of use. Tried calling Dyson and every time was a 45 minute or more call time wait. So lucky I bought the extended warranty on it. Only problem with that is that bestbuy doesn’t replace batteries on Dyson they just refund your money or give you a new one. Only problem with that is you have to buy a new warranty. And if you want to buy a new battery it’s over $100 dollars for one from Dyson

This means deep cleaning requires stopping every 15 minutes to give it 30 mins to a hour to charge. The attachments and power are all nice. It's very light weight and turns effortlessly it just really needs a better Batery. They advertise the run time as "40 mins of powerful suction" but the time advertised is with the suction level set at minum. Its less than half of that if you actual have the suction level turned up to where it can be used as an upright. If you have a back up for deep cleaning or a small house/apartment this would be fine but atleast for me I wish I would have went with a larger battery.

I am happy to learn that you've been so pleased with your Dyson V8 Animal for spot cleaning, and happy with the attachments as well, thus far in your use. We speak to our owners frequently and they tell us that cordless vacuums have changed the way they clean. We hear they clean more often, but in shorter bursts, spending less than 20 minutes per clean.
Our cordless models also have a run-time enhancing light touch trigger which ensures battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed. The total run time will be up to 40 minutes. In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using. Having a shorter run time does sound unusual, and we'd value the opportunity to go over your machine with you.

It is light weight, easy to grab and start vacuuming, picks up everything. Even my 4 year old can use it and she loves vacuuming for us. Great purchase.

Great starter vacuum

Suction has tons of power to help with my two fury friends and also my wife who sometimes sheds more than the cats (sorry honey). it pivots around furniture easily and is not super loud, very easy to clean. O and if you opt to use the hanger it comes with your house may look like one of those young techie kids home :)
