Great vacuum, short life

Overall has great suction and the charge lasts long enough for small jobs. Unfortunately, it completely stopped working less than 6 months after purchasing it. Dyson was easy to work with and is sending a replacement

The Dyson V8 has a much smaller bin capacity, and lacks the lights on the front of the vacuum that the Shark has. Very upset I spent 350 dollars on this. The build quality and suction are not any better than the Shark for substantially more money. I understand this is the entry level Dyson, but you should at least be able to beat your competitors priced a full 100 dollars less.

This was the perfect combination and option to meet both requests. This thing is amazing, picks up anything from any surface with no performance degradation when switching between surfaces. This quite simply put is a rockstar stick vaccum. The outstanding performance reminds me of the Princes song "The Stick".
