It picks up everything and is so easy to use. Assembly was quick which I appreciated. Really easy to move around. And easy to carry up and down the stairs. Getting rid of the central vac and only using the Dyson.

It is truly lightweight, and the convenience of no cord is incredible. The suction is excellent for our needs. I haven't needed to use the accessory pieces yet but am already very pleased. I highly recommend.

Excellent suction power and easy to empty the compartment that holds what you've vacuumed up. It can be a bit challenged to operate on rugs. They are not thick at all so not sure why it sometimes gets caught up on them but wish it was a little smoother. Otherwise, no complaints. Easy to recharge as well and holds charge for plenty of time.

Here are a few highlights of this vacuum: - no chord. The portability makes it incredibly easy and fast to vacuum - no nasty vacuum smell that blows back into the air thus giving your clean house a dirty smell - great suction - no problems with animal hair. I have two labs and a cat and this picks it ALL up.

Need fluffy head for tile

The person I spoke with at Best Buy said this head is great on tile, it’s O.K. not great. I wish the V8 came with the fluffy head, I had to spend an extra $100 to buy it from Amazon, Best Buy doesn’t sell it. I can vacuum the entire 1,400 sq ft home on 1 charge. If you have tile, you need the fluffy head, this doesn’t come with it

It is amazing. It is light, incredibly powerful (even on the lower-power mode, which extends the battery usage between charges), and works equally as well on carpet or bare floors. It rotates so easily. The canister seems small, but it is just fine! I have never been actually excited by a vacuum before. This was worth every penny!

I don't know whether its the lack of cord, ease of changing tools, how painless it is to empty/clean but whatever it is ... it's so worth the money. Never pictured myself being a daily vacuum-er, but with 2 kids, cats & dogs, wood floors and this little thing - I am now! it is so convenient to just run it through the high traffic areas at the end of the day.
