Great vaccuum for pet hair

I have light carpet and 2 very large dogs and even though I love my dogs I do not like the hair so I vacuum a lot. I was struggling with the stairs and finding a handheld vacuum that worked, until I got the V8. It is AMAZING!!!

Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). I am really enjoying it. I have two small dogs and 2 young adults living in my home. It is able to go from hardwood floors to carpets to area rugs. I am very pleased. I spilled some small beads in the carpet and left them just to try out the suction on the vacuum. It worked great!

I love that it can be handheld and that’s exactly what I was looking for. Very great product. The only thing I could find to complain about is the fact the battery life. It doesn’t last long and I can only vacuum a few things around the house until I dies.

Broke after 2 months light use

This was my second Dyson purchase, from Best Buy. After only 2 months of light use, the main head stopped spinning. There is nothing caught in it, and no obvious reason that it stopped spinning. I took it to Best Buy and they told me that since I did not buy the protection plan, they can't help me. They said it should still be under warranty though with Dyson, and that I should contact Dyson. Disappointed in this purchase. Hopefully it is a one off

Malamute game changer

My dog doesnt mind it either ;-)

This vacuum is super strong and picks up the dirt and hair with no problem. I use it on tile and wood floors as well as throw rugs. It’s super easy to remove the pieces to swap to a couch vacuum. Totally recommend!
