    Really great to have this lightweight vacuum always ready for use for those quick jobs around the house. Not great for picking up large items, but works very well for dirt and that annoying dog hair that fills the house.

    Good suction power but the battery Doesn’t last the necessary time to finish all. It last Approx 20 mitutes only, what I think it is not enough for the prize paid

      Hello Arito, this is Kelly with Dyson. I'm sorry to hear that you've found the run time on your Dyson V8 Animal to be subpar, thus far in your use. Your vacuum will come with standard and Max power modes. Our cordless models also have a run-time enhancing light touch trigger which ensures battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed. The total run time will be up to 40 minutes.  

      In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using. Having a shorter run time does sound unusual, and we'd value the opportunity to go over your machine with you. Please feel free to reach out to us directly at askdysonus@dyson.com.     Lots of attachments and nice vacuum. Battery isn’t as great as advertised. It suppose to have 40 mins of battery life but that is more like 30 on regular low and on super high suction it’s in the 15 range at best

    This vacuum sucks...literally.. It has longer battery life than Dyson V6 and so far it has been fantastic on our hardwood floors. My only regret is I didn't purchase this sooner.

    It’s a great strong cordless vacuum. It’s perfect for my house. The battery Lasted about 15 to 20 minutes, which was just long enough to get the job done. I think any period longer than that, my hand will get tired

    My V-6 was damaged so I upgraded to the V-8. The difference is amazing. The cleaning power is so much better, l plan on upgrading to a v-11 soon

    Great vacuum cleaner but the battery doesn’t last that long on the highest setting. I got lucky and bought the v10 for the same price which has a better battery and the hard floor attachment
