We've had the v8 animal Dotson for about 2 weeks now, and are blown away with its ability to pull debris out of a carpet, off of a tile or hardwood floor, and with its overall versatility. This thing works better thank our currently 2 year old Hoover stand up, and then some. Runs about 8 minutes in turbo mode, about 22 minutes in regular mode, and charges in just under three hours. If you've got many carpeted surfaces to vacuum, you may be charging between finishing, but will absolutely be impressed with the job it's done while you wait. I wouldn't hesitate recommending his vacuum to anyone who is like ping for an effective stick vac!

Vacuum is good, but the battery last about 10 minutes, I am not kidding. Very strong and lightweight. Good vacuum overall!

It is awesome. I would recommend it to everyone. If you have a pet, it’s better for you. Light, quite and easy to use.

This vacuum is simply marvelous. It really can suck I mean suck up the dirt!!!!☺️ The way Cleans You may only need to shampoo the rug from time to time. Take her pet here leaves the house, smelling fresher, and feels cleaner. It worth it. It’s been a little extra because you get a lot back.

I received this as a Christmas gift from my daughter who has one as well. Pay no attention to the dog hair aspect of the vacuum if you don’t have a dog as I don’t. The suction is unbelievable with the dog hair switch on the unit itself. Great to use on stairs and small mess on the floor with the small attachments. Very nice holder for the unit itself as well. Charge lasts quite a while when not in use while using it will go through the charge in 15-20 minutes. Taking quite a while to recharge fully

So east to use. Wish turbo would last longer but even in normal vacuum is strong enough really dont need turbo mode very often. Easy to clean.

I’m giving it four stars because I love Dyson products . However I find it quite noisy and I don’t like holding down the button to vaccum

Greta cordless vacuum. Easy to clean. Very powerful. Only thing they have to improve is the battery life, on max suction only last about 10 mins of running time.

I have four cats and a small dog.Oh and I have eight baby chickens. That I have in my home till they are able to be put outside with the adults. Then I have two grandkids 4 and 2 that I take care of three to four times a week and three nieces 4,10 and 14 that come over often. So I needed something that was strong, fast and heavy duty and this was it. The only con I can say about it is the price is ridiculous.

I LOVE - LOVE - the Dyson V8 !!! I have the Dyson V11 as well, but when I vacuum a higher pile carpet, It stops working after a few swipes and I get the message to clean the filter. The Dyson V8 doesn't stop Vacuuming the same carpet it keeps going, this is a Work Horse of a Vacuum. This is my 2nd V8, first one lasted 7 years, I will always buy the V8 until they stop making them. I highly recommend it!!!

It has been extremely handy to just be able and store it to the wall. The ability to just lift up and take it on the go has been so nice! Don’t even get me started on how well it cleans everything, from cat hair to hard to reach dust!

I've been using Dyson stick vacuums for as long as I can remember. Price-wise they're expensive but they've never broken down on me and lasts a long time. I got a new stick vacuum because I moved and couldn't bring my old one. This vacuum is easy to use, light and reliable. Only thing I wish is that the "iron" paint on the stick wouldn't get nicked so easily when I'm trying to get under the bed/couch.
