Love to be able to grab off the wall to do some quick cleaning. We've been keeping house cleaner since we got it as we no longer have to lug out the heavy vac w/cord to pick up spots of dirt or cat hair. Is lightweight and works very well - easy to empty and mount back to wall charger. Very happy with purchase

It's a Dyson, enough said. Seriously though I have two Dyson Vacuums because i'm to lazy to drag a vacuum upstairs and downstairs. I also have a dog who sheds so much I often feel like shaving her. The Dyson resolves the issue for the floors..Anything you've heard positive about Dyson is true..There's a reason why they have been in businesss forever...We've all had parents or grandparents who had 20 year old Dysons and it's because these things last..I have had my first Dyson about 4 years. I' admit Im kinda hard on my vacuums. I am the kind of person who will try to suck up anything that needs to go in the trash. I'm sure this violates some product use or warranty but my point is, these things last..While I have not tried, I don't think you can break a vacuum with semi normal use. By semi normal use I mean trying to vacuum things up like small pieces of dog food or sawdust..

I was a little hesitant to spend so much on a vacuum but after going thru so many in the past few years I thought maybe if I spend a little more Ill have it for longer. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats so animal hair is always a huge issue. After reading some of the reviews (someone actually complained about the suction being too powerful. Ok Karen *eye roll*) I could tell this was the vacuum for me. Ive had it a little over 3 months now and I could not be happier. The Max Suction setting does drain the battery a little faster than just the high power setting but it cleans my 1000sq ft house on a single charge. I have mostly hardwood and a few rugs throughout the home so I have just enough time to finish the whole house on Max setting. It does a great job on my furniture and also in the car. I LOVE MY VACUUM!

Excellent little vacuum cleaner with powerful cleaning action. We are surprisingly pleased with this slim, lightweight machine. It works exceedingly well on all our surfaces (wool rugs, carpet, hardwoods, stone tiles). Best of all, it truly lifts all the cat hair and stray litter from all surfaces. The proof is easily seen in the clear plastic debris canister. This stick vacuum replaced our old lightweight Oreck.We are surprised at how much better this vacuum works. Slim and discreet, it hangs neatly on the wall as it charges, always ready for a quick clean-up. We hung ours in the laundry room, near the cat's litter box, which makes daily floor clean-ups a snap. Love that the quick release long nozel brush concerts the stick into a hand held vacuum with several attachments for crevices, furniture, and such. So easy to use on stairs, cars, furniture, etc. We highly recommend this powerful little "animal".

This is the best purchase I've ever made. Makes vacuuming a breeze! lightweight, cordless and powerful suction. My mother-in-law loved my vacuum so much that she went out and bought one and bought one as a gift for her daughter too. This is definitely a must have mom hack.

I have been using this vacuum for a couple years low and I absolutely love it! It vacuums very well and I like how easy it is to control your movements so you can easily get into the corners of your house. I also have a pretty thick carpet and am still able to vacuum pretty easily. I also love using the attachments it comes with to be precise with my vacuuming and really get into those tough areas. Overall, this vacuum continues to exceed my expectations!

This is a very efficient and lightweight vacuum. It is comfortable to operate. It gets the job done. I love that it is quiet, easy to use, and came highly recommended. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Very disappointed I bought this at 350 dollars, for a full 100 dollars less I recommend the Shark Pet Plus stick vacuum. The Dyson V8 has a much smaller bin capacity, and lacks the lights on the front of the vacuum that the Shark has. Very upset I spent 350 dollars on this. The build quality and suction are not any better than the Shark for substantially more money. I understand this is the entry level Dyson, but you should at least be able to beat your competitors priced a full 100 dollars less.

Bought this stick vac to supplement my Kirby vacuum and this thing is great. It’s so light weight and makes vacuuming less of a chore. The suction is really good and the low profile of the cleaner head means it can reach places my other vacuum can’t. The battery life has been good so far, I can vacuum whole rooms no problem, but I use on the lower setting. That setting has performed well and still picks up a lot of stuff even after using my Kirby. I only use high suction when using the wand and combo brush head. Overall I think this is an awesome stick vac and hopefully the battery lasts a few years.

Great vacuum but I don’t think it’s worth the price

This vacuum is not the the most powerful Dyson, but it is the perfect combination of power and size. I primarily use it to vacuum my car and around my desk. The battery is pretty small and not removable, but it's plenty big enough for small tasks. The hardwood floor attachment is definitely worth buying as well. Like all Dysons, it doesn't lose suction even when the waste bin is pretty full. Although it does fill up pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend this vacuum as second vacuum to complement a larger corded model or if you have a smaller space to vacuum it would be perfect as a primary as well.

Let me just put it to you like this,,, I am completely blown away on how great this thing works. Yes it’s expensive and yes you always hear about the hype, but I have to say really cool.I don’t know if the other models have the same option but this one has a switch on it for bare floors and four carpets. It has a wall mount that all you do is lock it in and it recharges the battery so you don’t ever have to keep plugging things in it does it practically by itself it does last a good long while I vacuumed four rooms before I got down to the last indicator bar it’s just amazing. Like I said it is expensive but I definitely think it’s worth it.

Bought this Dyson to replace an older one that broke down I saw that it is smaller and lighter than the old one, so I assumed that it would not be as powerful, but I was surprised, this little Dyson is powerful and not as loud I haven’t timed how lon the battery lasts on a full charge, but it seems like it can go longer than the old one Very pleased with this purchase, highly recommend

I appreciate the power and versatility of this vacuum. Its light weight, long wand and variety of attachments allow me to easily vacuum a variety of surfaces in each room and make quick work of stairs. It is easy to empty cleanly. The battery is more than adequate. to clean several rooms before recharging.

Don’t know why we waited so long to buy a Dyson but so glad we did. Super lightweight and excellent cleaning. Stop procrastinating and invest in this gem!

We have 4 dogs, and keeping hair off the wood floors is a chore, but this Dyson makes the job a lot easier. It's very light and versitile. The battery on high suction mode (which you don't always need it on) goes very quickly. As long as you're not trying to clean your whole house in one sitting with it you will be fine. This thing performs beyond expectation especially considering its size.

Great Vacuum… it’s worth the purchase!! Little pricey but you won’t be disappointed

I love it. You get what you pay for. I had mine for almost 2 years and it stopped working. I brought it back to best buy and it was replaced. No problem.

Vacume has Great suction, gives a good 35 min running time.
