I did a lot of research and narrowed it down to the Dyson V8 animal. I was skeptical how something so light could do so well but I was pleasantly surprised. And using the hand attachment to do the stairs was magnificent.

I love the ease of use with my Dyson. It gets so close to the walls and corners. The battery time is decent, wish it had a little more run time. I think if it had the option to use it cordless or with cord it would be absolutely amazing! Overall this product is just what I was needing in my life!

BUT emptying the dust bin and then closing it is complicated. Open by pulling up on the red handle. The entire motor comes up and then the bottom of the bin opens. You MUST push the moror down THEN close the door to the dust bin. Do it any other way and everything is stuck. Of course I received zero directions about this with the package.

We have a full house with 3 dogs and 2 cats . It pulls every bit of animal hair out of rugs hard floors and furniture . Also empties easily into garbage can. I am amazed at how much sand hair and dirt comes up from places that doesn’t even look that dirty to begin with.
