It seems to suck the dirt from beneath the foundation. I would only complain that the battery runs out fast on max. In addition, the attachments are awesome!

My kids are now willing to clean the kitchen floor every night! They also clean their bedrooms more often! My husband set up the charger in the garage and everyone knows where to find the vacuum! Also, I don't have to wait for my husband to clean out the vacuum because I can do it myself without getting the dust all over the place. Cleaning the vacuum is so much easier! The only negative thing I can say is that the batteries die within 30 minutes. But who wants to vacuum for more than 30 minutes anyway?

Easy to use and sucks up SO much! This vacuum actually makes vacuuming fun! And since the motor is near my hand, my pets (I have3) aren’t afraid of it!

Battery sucks more than the vaccuum

Thought was that the battery charge would last however, after a few months the charge vrs usage gets shorter and shorter as time goes. Now we are lucky to get a full minute or two out of a charge. Doesn't matter how long it's been on the charger. The batteries are trash on the Dyson's. Other than the battery issues it's a good product. Too bad I can't use it that often.

Posted .Hello, this is Summer with Dyson. We're so sorry to hear that you are experiencing low run times with your V8. Your Dyson V8 cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). Handy Vacuum

So far, this is an improvement over the V6. It has more power and a few more handy attachments. Would recommend this to anyone.
