Must have for house with pets that shed! Lightweight, powerful, easy maneuvering. Also love the attachments.

The suction power of the Dyson V8 is impressive. It easily picks up dirt, dust, and pet hair from carpets and hard floors alike. Even on the "Low" power mode, it performs exceptionally well. On the "Max" power mode, it’s especially effective for deep cleaning tasks, although the battery drains faster.

This vacuum is very portable, lightweight and has great suction power. Not the newest Dyson on the market but would highly recommend this to anyone!

REPLACED THE LOW END MODEL, THE CHEAPER ONE, WHAT A DIFFERENCE, THIS BATTERY ACTUALLY LASTS ENOUGH TO VACUM YOUR ROOM AND YOUR KIDS ROOMS... THE LOWER END MODEL AND THE V6 DIE IN JUST A FEW BREATHS... EXCELLENT SUCTION, EASY TO CLEAN, GOOD BATTERY, WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

So far, this stick vacuum is exactly what I was looking for: lightweight, cordless, good suction for a mix of flooring (hard and low-pile rugs), mounting/charging wall cradle and a basic selection of specialized tools. Now, the only thing to find out is how long it will last. There are significant documented issues with Dyson vacuums having a very short lifespan and service being abysmal. I'll be delighted if it lasts for more than 2 years!

Love the power it puts out for a cordless and easy to store. This vacuum gets the job done!

Typical of all Dyson vacuums this one has great suction, battery life is very good. I can vacuum two full rooms and still have plenty of battery. It is good weight to carry…does not seem overly heavy or hurt my hands to carry while using it. The wall mounted charging station was two screws and finished so very easy to put up. Good assortment of attachments and outstanding price!

Finally bought dyson,tired of teplacing vacuums every other year.picks up dirt we didn't know was there,cordless makes it easy.this does just fine,no need to the expensive model.

Have two Persian cats and use the Dyson stick attachments to vacuum the cat hair from the furniture. Also use it for quick kitchen floor clean ups. Always use on max suction so does not last 40 minutes per charge. However, this product does not disappoint. Would have given five stars if charge lasted longer when using max suction.

Great overall product. Works on all of our surfaces and stores away very neatly. Highly recommend for anyone in either a home or apartment.

I use this in my apartment. It doesn't take up a lot of space, is easy to charge, and powerful enough for carpet and vinyl.

Dyson products suck. They suck better than any other comparable product on the market. Some vacuums simply sit around, collecting dust, which is fine, but if you want something that really sucks, get a Dyson. Not only will it collect dust, but it will make short work of cat hair, litter than your cat leaves on the floor because it can't be bothered to swipe away from the entrance of the litter box, those mysterious pieces of plastic that you find on the kitchen tile that the cat swears just appear at night, confetti that is lodged into the cushions of your couch and manages to find its way to your carpet as well as the run-of-the-mill dirt trail from the front door to wherever the offending party who didn't remove their shoes lands.
