Great vacuum with no cords.

A little weak in normal mode

The max mode works really good, but drains the battery quickly and the motor housing gets very warm. Good basic vacuum for lite work around the house

Posted .Hello Leiska, this is Kelly with Dyson. Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). This thing really sucks!

I put 4 stars because in the Maximum Power state the battery only lasts about 7-8 minutes.
