The cleaning quality is just ok, not great. I’ll look at other vacuums when I buy another one.

I would not consider it a one-to-one replacement in a home with wall-to-wall carpeting. That said, the ubiquitous smooth floors of this century are easily managed with this device. The battery life is sufficent to sweep our 1200 sqft upstairs and tackle upholstery in the living area which is dominated by our five cats and one dog.
