Light and Cordless while providing vacuum and sweeping use.

Nice but doesn’t hold charge well. We have a 2400 sf home with concrete floors and I can’t even get through my whole house on one charge which is incredibly frustrating. I use for my baseboards first and then have to recharge before I can use for the main flooring. And even then-need to recharge during cleaning. For the price-I don’t feel it’s worth it. Hate saying that because this is my 3rd Dyson so obviously I love the brand but this is my first cordless and I was hoping for superior battery life. I thought about purchasing another battery to switch out when one died but that is a chore in and of itself. I wish Dyson would make switching batteries out way easier….i would’ve given 4 stars had that been the case.

Have been wanting a Dyson Stick Vacuum for a while and finally got the Dyson V8 Animal. So far I love it. Was easy to put together and super easy to use. Has great suction, picks up everything..it does have a shorter run time then expected but still did my whole house, rather quickly too.

This vacuum is so powerful and light, easy to clean too.

Works great for what I need.. Battery could last a little longer but not a deal breaker

Crazy amazing vacuum stick! Nothing out there compares: every attachment imaginable, long battery life, incredibly easy to empty and clean, and agile cleaning uses/location combos make the Dyson V8 a must have for staying on top of all east and hard to reach cleaning surfaces (including cars, boats, and garages).

I like the product because it is light and easy to empty. However, the charging seems inconsistent and the suction can often stop working due to being clogged. N.b, I do have a fair few dog hairs in my house though so maybe not a problem if you don't.

Great little vaccume. Works just as good as our last Dyson that it is replacing. My only con on this model is the way it docks in the charging station. I prefer the older drop down charger but it's not awful once you get used to it.

This thing SUCKS but in a good way. If you need something in your life that can handle a mess this is for you! No it can’t prescribe Xanax but it will clean the dirt from your fallen plant or messy dog.

A significant upgrade over my previous cordless! The vacuum has a good amount of suction, and the brush cleans itself. Emptying the canister is much more efficient too. While some corded vacuums probably have more power, this vacuum does everything I need and more.

Very Powerful. We had a Dyson V6 for years. We broke it.

Love the product. It does a great job---just be aware that the advertised running time for the unit is related to the lower power setting. on HI power the unit will run for approx. 10 min

Love the Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum with 6 accessories! It's a wonderful product, cleans up pretty nicely and it's a no brainer.

Works great & quiet and picks up quickly. Emptying process easy

Easy to use battery is suspect, otherwise I like the unit for what I use it for.

It is a good vacuum, picks up good and is light weight.

Overall, I love it & all the attachments it comes with. The only con is the battery life.

I do truly believe that the Dyson is a little bit over priced but it’s still a very good vacuum. What I didn’t know is that to start vacuuming you have to put your finger on the button and continuously keep it there. I also wish when cleaning my Dyson there were tools to come with that, especially for the price that I was paying. Also Putting it together and taking it apart super easy.
