Decent vacuum, terrible battery life

However the battery life is atrocious! After a full charge (4 hours) it only last about 7-8 minutes before completely dead. Couldnt even vacuum my entire house before dying. Completed my stairs and had to recharge to do the reset of the house.

Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). If you feel that your V8 might be malfunctioning, we do offer a two-year warranty on this product. Just reach out to our customer support at askdysonUS@dyson.com so we can help.

That I have in my home till they are able to be put outside with the adults. Then I have two grandkids 4 and 2 that I take care of three to four times a week and three nieces 4,10 and 14 that come over often. So I needed something that was strong, fast and heavy duty and this was it. The only con I can say about it is the price is ridiculous.

There are 5 dogs in our house right now, and two of them are over 80lbs and so so hairy. So much hair. I vacuum everyday, sometimes twice a day. I seriously love how great of a job it does, **BUT** it feels super cheap for the hefty price. The attachments are easy to swap out, but the connections feel rickety. It has this terrible plastic sound that - I cannot stress this enough - feels super cheap and drives me crazy.

Pricey but worth every penny

Price-wise they're expensive but they've never broken down on me and lasts a long time. I got a new stick vacuum because I moved and couldn't bring my old one. This vacuum is easy to use, light and reliable. Only thing I wish is that the "iron" paint on the stick wouldn't get nicked so easily when I'm trying to get under the bed/couch.
