This is the best vacuum by far, tried some other brands but this one just can not be compared with other, its very expensive but does a great job, lots of suction power to clean laminate and carpet. Buy this today, stop wasting your time and money on other brands..

This Dyson vac works great on hardwood floors and rugs. Quick change over for hard to get at areas

This vacuum makes housework kind of fun. I love the easy of use and it's light - as long as you don't use it on max power, I can usually vacuum my whole house.

I just moved into a two story house and needed a light weight vacuum to carry up and down the stairs. this vacuum works great and is a great multi-purpose vacuum to go from hard wood floors to area rugs without having to adjust any settings. It's completely replaced my full size Bissell.

I made my own v8 absolute by buying v8 animal at Best Buy when on sale (saving $100) and buying a soft roller on Amazon. The soft roller is great for the hardwood floor but v8 animal does not come with it. However, the only difference between v8 animal and v8 absolute is the soft roller and the price difference between the two is $150, while the soft roller was $100 on Amazon. So I ended up saving $50 for my own v8 absolute (= v8 animal + soft roller). I bought 4 year protection ($60) from Best Buy to have a peace of mind. (I also compared protection plans across different sellers and I liked the Best Buy one). My v8 absolute (v8 animal + soft roller) has been working great so far.

This is awesome!!!! It’s so easy to use, to charge and to store. I have 3 fur babies and I needed a vacuum that easy to use and had a good suction. This product meets my needs.

Excellent vacuum so far. Easy to assemble. Easy to use. Light and well balanced. We bought this to complement the roller ball model which is good, but awkward and harder to maneuver. This stick makes a little pick-up easy and convenient. Good vaqlue purchase for us.

Excellent vacuum Easy to use and is extremely light weight. Allows you to get into hard to places. Does a great job in picking up dog fur from carpets and hardwood floors. Highly recommended!

Never thought it’d be so easy cleaning my house with this. Comes with all necessary tools and I even cleaned out my car. Battery life could be a little better but other than that absolutely no complaints. Great suction and great value.

The Dyson V8 works well. I am only giving it 3 stars because the battery dies before I finishing vacuuming my condo. I have about 824 sqft to vacuum and the battery dies before I finish.

We have a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment and I can vacuum my whole apartment on 1 charge using the lower setting. The max suction option is literally only good for quick pick ups. Like spilled food on floors. Very easy to clean. And I feel the floors are MUCH cleaner after I use this, like nothing is left behind. All of the attachments are easy to use as well.

This is what I was looking for. Cordless, powerful, compact. The best thing it has few attachments/accessories, so using it to clean a car or a house is as easy as ever it can be even for kids (not being afraid that they would mess up with cords...).

I just received this yesterday. I put it together and started to use it on the constant cat hair I have to keep after. It handled it without hesitation. I was blown away by how easily it works. I am sorry I did not buy this earlier. I would buy another no problem.

I found myself vacuuming everyday because it makes it easy. Very light, powerful, practical. Only downside is you cannot do more than three big room. And it takes a while to charge back. But still 5stars from me!

The Dyson stick vac is by far the best vacuum I have ever owned. I will never go without one!

It’s just ok for $300 I mean the convenience is there forsure but it’s honestly nothing special for the price. I feel like my $50 bissell vacuum picks up more dust and is way more powerful than this Dyson. But that’s just my opinion!

Good vacuum only downfall is the battery doesn’t last too long, which they advertise- but two settings so runs out quicker on the more powerful setting. Does what I intended for it to do however, but it really looking to clean a larger area with the higher power, would suggest upping to the longer battery model for sure.

Good Entry level product from Dyson, vacuuming is easy on hardwoods and carpets at the standard setting. The product is light weight for easy maneuverability around the house and even cleaning in your cars but not the best for stairs as shaft is not adjustable. I would have also liked Dyson to include more attachments for the price point.
