I bought this vacuum based upon my daughter's recommendation. It has performed well beyond my expectations. Suction is excellent and it is very easy to handle. Best investment I've made in quite a while.

This is a great purchase. It definitely makes cleaning very easy and quick. It has a lot of power. I do wish the battery lasted longer than 40 minutes but other than that I think it’s a life changer!

This Dyson cordless is great for a quick cleanup in the kitchen and other tile floors in my house. I also find it easy to use on the carpeted stairs, rather than the awkwardness of a full size vacuum.

This is my third Dyson Vac. Each generation it seems to get better. We still have all three. This is my favorite. Light weight, easy to use, great from carpet to tile . . .

This is perfect! My apartment is mainly carpet and I have two cats. It picks up hair and litter!

Awesome vacuum! V8 power provides excellent suction. Battery life on the normal mode will give you about an hour worths of cleaning. My only quarrel is you can't run max power for more than 10 minutes w/o the battery life depleting quickly. Overall 4.5/5

The Dyson V8 vacuum is an excellent buy. Light weight but very powerful and easy to maneuver. I like the fact that you can charge it and go. No need to worry about electrical cords.

It’s expensive but worth every penny . Easy to use lightweight easy to maneuver. Highly suggest any stain products they make great quality.

I use my Dyson multiple times a week and love it! The different attachments make cleaning so easy and give the option for stairs, our fabric couch, hardwood, different carpet densities, ceiling corners, baseboards, trim, and "dusting" the blinds. I appreciate the two speeds that can be used especially for high pile carpets or the couch and being able to see how much dust it picks up lets you know it's really working. I hesitated to spend this much on a vacuum but I've definitely gotten my money's worth back in the year I've owned it!

Wanted something to clean camper floors and furniture, bring in a lot of sand when camping. Wanted a vacuum cleaner to clean house tile, hardwoods, and rugs. The Animal gets small enough to get into the small places in the camper and home. I have purchased several hand held vacuum cleaners and have thrown them away. Have a rainbow vacuum cleaner it works just to bulky, would be awful to use in the camper. Don’t like messing with the dirty water. Love the Dyson Animal it’s very easy to change accessories and the suction is amazing. Cleans dust and animal hair with easy. You don’t have to worry about finding new filters because you don’t change them out. This is the only vacuum cleaner that has ever worked like it is advertised to.

Love Dyson vacuums. Really like how it works and easy to clean: my only grin is the handle is small for me.

This is our second Dyson 8 and this one is quieter than our first one.

We love this vacuum. Had this since last year and I have to say we vacuum more than we ever had due to the simple 'vac and go'. Do not have to lug out anything heavy and this works great. I find it that it works excellent for hardwood/tiled floors and for medium thickness or less carpet/rugs. If you have thick carpet/rugs, this does a fair job, but I feel you would need to use a corded vac as this simply doesn't have enough suction power. Cleaning and dumping the canister is easy, along with the add-ons. Works great if you have pet hair in the corners or under the furniture. I would recommend this to anyone unless you have thick carpets/rugs. We got this on sale during the black Friday sales and I personally feel it's worth no more than $250. Wait for BF and you can get this for around $200-250.

We bought this to have a light weight, cordless option to our full size Dyson vac. We love it. We can clean our hardwood floors and area carpets in minutes without the fuss of a larger, corded vac.

The best vacuum ever! Easy to use, great quality, and picks up everything!

This vacuum is awesome. It's so portable and easy to use. It's also simple to attach it to the wall. The only downside is that if you use it on high power, the battery only lasts like 5 min.
