Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool).     This is the best vacuum I have ever used. I hated using a vacuum my entire life, but I find myself looking for reasons to use this beautiful device. The charge lasts long enough for any task, and it's so light that your back will hurt much less than even using a standard wheeled unit. This vacuum is the reason Dyson has stopped making their upright units; it's simply the best.

    This is the best handheld vacuum on the market. Originally purchased to suck up little spills and dirt but I now use it to replace my vacuum for the floor. The V8 is good enough. Anyone who tells you otherwise is just being snobby. The price for the additional attachments is too pricey in my opinion but it’s dyson after all.

    The vacuum works well however the battery life is unacceptable. I can't finish any vacuum job as the battery dies so quickly. Now I need to purchase another vacuum so I can keep my house clean.

    I effin’ love this thing, its no match for my malamute, he sheds hair like crazy & always brings in dirt & I just hate feeling that on the bottom of my feet, but now I just clean all that so much easier & its a life changer. My dog doesnt mind it either ;-)

    I think this products was great. I love that it can be handheld and that’s exactly what I was looking for. Very great product. The only thing I could find to complain about is the fact the battery life. It doesn’t last long and I can only vacuum a few things around the house until I dies.
