Great for Allergies!!

My biggest expectation was a reduction in allergens in my apartment. I do NOT have animals, but I wanted the filters. I am so very happy that I bought this vacuum. I am experiencing a reduction in allergies and due to the light weight nature of the vac, I use it more often.

The wall mount makes it easy to stare and charge. It’s convenient and makes a daily vacuum so easy! Also great on couches and beds; picks up cat hair like it’s nothing. The attachments are useful for getting in tight corners and under the sofa.

Since then I have gone through several other vacuums that lose their suction after a few use. But not Dyson, it is a great vacuum that is worth its value. If you are on the fence, buy one, try it, and you will fall in love with it.

Great for Dog Hair Pickup

This product has to be the best thing that I have purchased and used for the clean up of dog hairs. Definitely recommend purchasing this if you have animals.

The battery only lasts 25 minutes

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It takes more than 3 hours to load the battery so that it only works for about 25 minutes, it works fantastic, all kinds of surfaces and weighs almost nothing but again the battery is gone after 25 minutes use. If I had known, I wouldn't have bought it, my mistake I didn't ask.

Posted .Hi Oscar, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear you've been disappointed with the run time that your V8 Animal provides. Your vacuum will come with standard and Max power modes. Our cordless models also have a run-time enhancing light touch trigger which ensures battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed. In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using. Worth it

My only gripe is you have to hold the button to use it, but it makes sense that you have to so you don't run out battery life.

This definitely has the new car smell so to speak. Amazing performance. Just make sure that if you are using on hardwood floors take the time and buy the hardwood floor attachment as well. You will not be disappointed.
